He's definitely the proto-Caleb - he even has a card with the apple pose! Similar vibe (cop instead of military, very down to Earth personality) and aesthetic - and funnily, his Evol is wind and he often uses it to fly around... I couldn't help but think of him in the Abyssal Chaos 'Final Farewell' deduction where Caleb had you hold onto him as you jump down an elevator shaft, and he uses his gravity Evol to slow the decent.

Listen. He's had such a long day, days really with how long he'd been gone, and he just wants to spend the rest of his time with you until the next mission rolls around ! So as such the minute he he sees you he's wrapping his arms around you and spinning you around.

Trying to make dinner??? Don't even worry about it, he'll either make it himself or order food he doesn't want you to lift a finger ! He'll clean up and everything too he's got all the hard work handled!

I imagine this to be pretty late at night so you're probably not going anywhere just yet but if you wanna take a little walk around he won't say no ! He's pulling you so closely to him and making sure you stay nice and warm !

If you do decide to stay in he's getting everything ready to relax with you, picking out your favorite movie, snacks, whatever you want he's already got it in hand, he's that prepared!

Will not leave your side whatsoever, he stays close giving you lots o hugs and cuddles and kisses ! He missed you a lot while he was gone and he needs to show you all the affection that built up while he was away ! Of course only you see this side of him but that's fine its yours and Gavin's little secret <3

I suddenly got reminded of this Christmas poem I wrote for Gavin in most likely 2020.

It was a short while after Love and Producer first came out in English. Back then, I was all for Gavin. His personality and character tropes already had me captured. Then there was his wind control Evol that fascinated me all the more. His character specific story branch around the eternal winter arc of the main story season 1, his first ever Christmas card's Date story and the Christmas event snippets got me thoroughly convinced that my mental image of an ideal winter date or Christmas celebration can reach its peak with Gavin only. Wouldn't it be simply spectacular to be able to gaze at the illuminations from up in the sky, snuggled up in the warmth of someone's arms?

This poem is the culmination of those emotions I felt at the time. I uploaded this video after a year or so, mostly to ensure it couldn't be copied and stolen. The music box tune used comes from Blanket Snow by Dream — one of my favorite winter J-pop songs. At that time, the anime adaptation of the game was yet to be released. Otherwise, maybe I'd have gone with a music box version of the ending song Maioritekita Yuki.
