Gavrielle was taking the long way back from her workout when voices carried to her hears. Following the sound, the man’s words made Gavrielle shudder just a little. She heard that far too often in her line of work, but it never failed to make her frown a little in resentment. But seeing the man and slave, Gavrielle knew she shouldn’t intervene. It would get her noticed. And that’s not what she wanted. “Oh I think the grant student is a little smarter than that.” She said quietly.

Marco looked over his shoulder and gave a blank expression to the woman. Was she trying to interfere? Distract him? He would like to think that if she knew the slave and were smart, she wouldn’t try to get involved. He could play them off each other if that were the case. “You think?” he asked her as she stood behind him. “You’d be surprised how easy it is to get what you want from them. You just need to know how, and where to apply the pressure,” he told her. Just then he pressed into their shoulder harder, an audible grunt rang from their mouth. “Are you here to give a suggestion or just going to watch?” he added.

On Thursday, Virginia took a vacation day to be home with the twins. Neither she nor Gavin works Friday-Monday, so they won’t have to worry about childcare, because the twins will be in school by the time Tuesday rolls around.

Virginia and Gavin both have plenty of vacation days, so they both took Tuesday off to stay home with the little twins, and to be around for the party later.

And they even found time for a date!
