i will always and have always loved electrocuted/stunned sprites
CIEL!!!!! I’ve never drawn her ever so her hair looks strange but that is!!! Okay!!!
Everything about this is iconic honestly.
Just finished Goodboy Galaxy and absolutely had to draw this little guy. Not just because they're adorable as heck, but also because there's like no fanart of this game, which is a tragedy imo.
I was going through my Danny Phantom pictures when I came across a sprite of Clockwork from the Gameboy Advance game "Danny Phantom: The Ultimate Enemy" released back in 2005, his coloring was different so I thought it'd be fun to draw him more like the sprite. I messed up part of the staff since its supposed to have a classic alarm clock on it like the ones they use for explosives in cartoons but meh, I like the gear I put on better. So in a way this is still an alternate version of Clockwork yet also sorta canon since he was in a real Nickelodeon videogame.
Made a quick thing with a few of the actual sprites here so you see what I mean.
So I'm browsing Gameboy Advance games on My Modded original Xbox and I notice there's a Little Mermaid game on here, The Little Mermaid: Magic in 2 kingdoms. It took me maybe 30 min at most to beat, and it's just weird. For starters all the cutscenes are very compressed screenshots from the movie, and it's kinda hilarious the specific frames they get fire these.
The game itself is basically a mini game collection, each level is a different mini game, though do to that the game goes through the movie's story at breakneck speed. Like you go from a level bassed off the "Kiss the Girl" scene where you have to shine a light over Ariel and Eric to fill a love meeter and press A when the meter fills to make the moment more romantic (fireflies and butterflies start flying around), immediately to Eric is about to marry vanessa and you now have to splash water at her and send scuttle after here you you can press a series of Burton prompts to break her necklace. Like it's literally a cliff notes version of the movie turned into the video game. But then there's the level where you're Sebastian and have to hide from the chef and free your crab buddies, or the level where you're ariel following the eels to Ursala's lair and you have to swim through rings they create, where they pad out the movie. It's such a weird game. Maybe I should give little Mermaid game on NES by Capcom a try.
