i’m back from GAMESCOM in germany
it was reallly coool! We played so many cool games and it was so awesome seeing stuff like the new WoW expansion being announced and all the cosplayers and just the general atmosphere at the convention was so amazing! it’s definitely worth going if you’re anywhere near Germany.
We played a few multiplayer hero-shooters of a similar nature: Overwatch, Battleborn and Paladins. They were all really really fun, although Paladins was obviously a lot earlier in development than the other two and we only got to play singleplayer in Battleborn. But i’m really excited for all three of these games! I really liked the clear objectives and hero design in Battleborn. In overwatch I found the objectives a bit hard to understand - but we were playing in german so i’m sure with some practise in the english version i’d understand what was going on a bit better. But the hero design in that game is INCREDIBLE. All of them look amazing!
Also played the new Heroes of the storm map and the hero the monk. We got annihilated by the team we were playing but it was still cool to see the new map and fun to play as the Monk who seems like a pretty strong hero.
Unfortunately the new deus ex game wasn’t playable but there was a short gameplay demo and video about the game which made it look AWESOME and i am so, so excited for that. The Deus Ex franchise is SO COOL. I also got this cool free wee big head man of adam jensen which was nice.
Those are the main games I got really excited about :)
