what's jenny st james been up to all these years? i remember when you first started drawing her back on your da years ago and i absolutely fell in love with your style

Thank you so much! Ohh, Jenny. I haven’t drawn her in forever, but I always know exactly where she is in life. She is still living in a town on the Chesapeake Bay, she got married to Sheriff Eli Praetor (and did take his name because she likes it), and they moved into Eli’s parents’ old house, which he had been fixing up for ages. They got married in late spring, and she wore a yellow dress with a bunch of flowers in her hair. She was pregnant at the time but didn’t know it yet. She knows it now, and is feeling pretty good about the whole thing.

I started drawing Jenny when I was angry all the time. And I was, ALL THE TIME. Now that I’m happy, so is she. She doesn’t want to escape anymore. Life’s good.
