来月12月8日発売の『月刊ブシロード』には、《ギアクロニクル》のGユニットが付録！ 今日ご紹介するのは、新たなGユニット「時空竜 ロストエイジ・ドラゴン」だ。 アタックがヴァンガードにヒットしたとき、相手のリアガードを1枚選んで過去に送り戻してしまう。 クロノが使う「クロノジェット・ドラゴン」からストライドすると、一気に2枚を過去に消し去ることができるぞ。 山札に戻ったリアガードはレギオンのコストにできないので、デッキによっては通常の退却よりも強力な能力。 コストも不要なので、とても使いやすいGユニットだ。 12月のショップファイトでも参加賞として手に入れることができるので、ぜひゲットしよう！ 【ユニット設定】 今では存在した痕跡すら残っていない、太古の昔に滅亡した世界からやってきたという「ギアドラゴン」。 世界と世界を繋ぐゲートを自在に操り、さらにはエネルギーの塊であるゲートを物理的に破壊する事ができるほど、凄まじい力を持っていたと記されている。 昨今“ギアクロニクル”創設に携わったある者と同じ世界から来たという記述が見つかったらしいが、創設メンバーについては前述の消失した世界同様、記録がほとんど残されていない為、詳細は不明。 また、創設メンバーの同行者であった滅亡世界の時空竜――通称「ロストエイジ」も、存在自体が定かでないとされており、伝説にのみ登場する架空の竜なのでは、という説も上がっている。 “ギアクロニクル”の団員が行き来できる範囲は限定されている為、こういった歴史の謎を時間渡航で解き明かす事は適わない。 時間を操る彼らも、時に翻弄される我らも、歴史という巨大な渦の前では、等しく小さな存在なのだろう。

The December 8th, 2014 issue of Monthly Bushiroad comes with a new "Gear Chronicle" G Unit! And today we'll be introducing that new G Unit, "Interdimensional Dragon, Lost Age Dragon". When its attack hits a Vanguard, you can send one of your opponent's Rearguards back into the past. And if you Stride on top of Chrono's "Chronojet Dragon", you can throw two of your opponent's Units back into the past at the same time. Since Rearguards sent back to the Deck can't be used for Legion, this Deck's abilities are stronger than the typical Retire. Since it costs nothing to use this ability, it's a supereasy to use G Unit. You can also get it for participating in Shop Fights through December, so try and get your hands on it! [Unit Lore] Even though traces that it existed no longer remain, this beast is an Gear Dragon that came from a world that was destroyed in the ancient past. It's written that it possesses incredible and terrible power, that it can freely control the gates that connects worlds, and can also destroy the gates which are ultimately just masses of energy. Based on records that were discovered, it seems that Lost Age comes from the same world as one of those who founded what is now known as "Gear Chronicle", and that founding member's world is the aforementioned destroyed world, but since there are barely any records left, the specifics are completely unknown. Also, this Interdimensional Dragon from the destroyed world used to be the travelling companion of that founding member... ... Its nickname is "Lost Age", and even its existence is questionable, since it only appears in myths and legends, there's a growing number of people who are of the opinion that it doesn't even really exist. Because the temporal range that the members of "Gear Chronicle" can go back and forth through is limited, it's extremely unlikely this mystery can be solved through time travel. Those that manipulate time, are themselves at the mercy of time... before the great vortex known as history, they are tiny, little things.

今日のカードは、アニメ「カードファイト!! ヴァンガードG」で、新導クロノがライドするグレード1とグレード2ユニット。

特別な能力は持たないが、その分パワーが高いギアドラゴンたちだ。 パワーはアタック時には“攻撃力”、ガード時には“防御力”として機能する。 これらのパワーが高いユニットにライドすると、序盤にダメージを受けにくくなるため、有利になりやすいぞ。 11月21日(金)に発売する『覚醒の時空竜』には、これらのユニットが4枚ずつ収録されている。 ライドするユニットに迷った時は、まずはこれらのユニットにライドしてみよう。 そしてクロノのように、惑星クレイに降り立ったギアドラゴンたちをイメージしてファイトしてほしい!! 【ギアドラゴンたち】 ギアドラゴンは、「クロノジェット・ドラゴン」のような発生源を不明とする上位個体と、それらに力を与えられた中位以下の個体で分別される。 上位固体は、「超越」を引き起こす為のゲートを自在に生成する等、時間や空間に直に関わる超常の力を行使する存在。 中位・下位個体のほとんどは、様々な事情で「クロノジェット」ら上位固体が引き入れた者達であり、時空を操る為の機器である「タイムエンジン」搭載型の装具を、クラン加入時に授かっている。 中位固体である「スモークギア・ドラゴン」は、周囲の認識を僅かにずらす霧を散布して、あたかも自分が消えたように見せるという、防御や支援に特化した空間干渉能力を。 同じく「メーザーギア・ドラゴン」は、上位個体がゲートを開く際に使う未知のエネルギーを微量ながらも収集する力を持ち、溜めた力を熱線として放出するという攻撃に特化した能力を持つ。

Today's cards are the Grade 1 and 2 Units that Shindou Chrono Rides in the the animated series "Cardfight!! Vanguard G". Neither have special abilities, but they're both Gear Dragons with high Power. Power when you attack is Attack Power, but at points of Guarding, it serves as Defense Power. If such high powered Units are Rode, it becomes harder for your opponent to deal damage early on, giving you an advantage. "Awakening of the Interdimensional Dragon", which goes on sale November 21st, 2014, comes with 4 copies of these Units. If you don't know what Units to Ride with, Ride with these guys. And just like Chrono, imagine these Gear Dragons descending on the planet Cray and fighting their foes!! [The Gear Dragons] Gear Dragons consist of the higher ranking ones like "Chronojet Dragon" whose origins are unknown and the medium and lower ranked beings whose power is granted by them. The higher-ranking members can force the creation of the gates that cause Stride, and are beings that can use supernatural powers related to space-and-time. The middle and lower ranked Gear Dragons, are those that the higher ranked members like "Chronojet" brought in or won over, equipped with devices like the "Time Engine" which can manipulate time and space. The Time Engines are given to them upon joining the Clan. The middle ranked "Smoke Gear Dragon" breathes a mist that shifts the surrounding area slightly by making him look like he disappeared. It's a spacial-altering ability that's useful for defense and support purposes. The similar "Maser Gear Dragon" collects the minute traces of energy that are used when the higher ranking members force open a gate, using the pooled energy to attack with a heat ray, which is its special weapon.

The Clan that manipulates time, "Gear Chronicle". Their quintesencial monster is this guy, "Interdimensional Dragon, Mystery Flare Dragon"!! He has the ability to accelerate time and skip to your next turn, thus granting you an additional turn! When his attack hits a Vanguard, you can turn the top 4 cards of your Deck face-up, and if they're 4 different Grades: Grade 0, Grade 1, Grade 2, and Grade 3 for example, you can activate this overwhelming ability!! This ability's costs and conditions are both incredibly severe, but if you gain an additional turn, you can instantly turn the entire game around! Although the G Unit does not gain the abilities of its Heart, it does gain its Power, so you should have more than enough Power to make sure the attack hits. Will the goddess of fate smile upon you? Since you can choose whichever G Unit you want from your G Zone, you should call upon Mystery Flare in your darkest hour. [What Is Gear Chronicle?] "Gear Chronicle", who transcend space and time, continue their journey of contemplation. During the great battles with the Invaders, a slight time-space distortion was left on the world of Cray... ... "Chrono Jet Dragon" noticed this distortion and opened a "Gate" and he and those with him landed on Cray. The gate, in the ancient ruins of Dark Zone, opened with a flash of light. Gear Chronicle appeared from the gate, using the ruins as their base of operations... ... More of the "Gear Chronicle" story will be revealed in "Tales of the Planet Cray" in Monthly Bushiroad. 本日は11月21日(金)発売のトライアルデッキ『覚醒の時空竜』より、『ギアクロニクル』のファーストヴァンガード候補をご紹介！ ライドされた時にリアガードにコールできる「先駆」の能力は、ファーストヴァンガードに最適の能力。 ヴァンガードをはじめたばかりの時は忘れがちな能力だが、ぜひ使いこなしてみて欲しい！ さらに、ストライドをしたターンからはジェネレーションブレイク！ 自身をソウルに置くことで、山札からグレード3のユニットを手札に加えることができる。 アタッカーとしてコールすることもできるが、次のターンに確実にストライドができるので、手札に持っておくのもグッド！ 先日ご紹介した「クロノジェット・ドラゴン」と組み合わせて、積極的にストライドを狙おう！ 【ユニット設定】 突如クレイに現れた謎の武装集団“ギアクロニクル”の一員。 「クロノジェット・ドラゴン」から力を授けられ、微量ながら時に干渉する力を得た竜、「ギアドラゴン」の幼生。 周囲の空間から時の力を集め、弾丸のようにして放つ“ギアクロニクル”の汎用システム「タイム・ドレイン」を使う。 これは集めた時の力の練度で効果が変わるが、システムの運用には慣れと時間を操るセンスが問われるらしく、“ギアクロニクル”に所属して間もない彼は、まだコンマにも満たない時間にしか干渉する事ができない。 彼らの正体について、知る者はまだいない。 しかし、彼らは「超越」を観察しながら、クレイの民を見定めているようにも見える。 その眼に適う者が現れた時、彼らは初めてクレイへの干渉を試みるだろう。 “ギアクロニクル”の目的と正体、その一端が明かされるまで、そう時間はかからないのかもしれない。

Today we're introducing the likely First Vanguard for the "Awakening of the Interdimensional Dragon" Trial Deck on sale November 21st, 2014! It comes with the ability "Forerunner", which lets you Call it to the Rearguard when you Ride it, which is considered the optimal ability for your First Vanguard. It's an ability that's easy to forget when you're just starting the game, but try to master using it! And, it has a Generation Break you can use the turn you Stride! By placing itself into the Soul, it can add a Grade 3 Unit from your Deck to your hand. While it's great for getting an Attacker you can Call, it's true strength is allowing you to Stride again, so getting that Unit into your hand is a smart idea! If you combine it with "Chrono Jet Dragon" which we introduced the other day, you can try and Stride aggressively! [Unit Lore] A member of the mysterious armed group "Gear Chronicle" who suddenly appeared on Cray. Using power granted to him by "Chrono Jet Dragon", he's a "Gear Dragon" whelp who uses the power he was given to sometimes interfere with things in small ways. He uses the general-purpose "Time Drain" system of "Gear Chronicle" to gather the surrounding temporal energy as bullet rounds. Although its effects changes depending on how much power is gathered, making use of the system requires a good sense of manipulating time and a ton of practice, but since he's a recent recruit, he can only meddle with time for less than an instant. No one knows their true identity yet. However, they seem to be measuring the people of Cray who are studying the phenomenon "Stride". They seem to interfere with Cray when those with the glint in their eyes appear. However, it might not be too long until the purpose and true identity of "Gear Chronicle" is revealed... ...

Chrono Jet Dragon

In the TV series "Cardfight!! Vanguard G", the protagonist, "Shindou Chrono" uses "Chrono Jet Dragon"! It's a Grade 3 trump card that has 2 copies included in "Awakening of the Interdimensional Dragon", which comes out November 21st, 2014. Today we'll be teasing a few hints of the secrets of the new clan "Gear Chronicle" and their new abilities. "Chrono Jet Dragon" is a Grade 3 Unit with 2 Abilities. The first is a Guard restricting ability that requires a Generation Break of 2. The other is an unusual removal ability that you can use when you Stride. "Gear Chronicle" Units possess the ability to control the time-space continuum. Which makes it fitting for them to 'stop' your opponent's Guardians and 'return' your opponent's Rearguards back to the Deck before they were ever Called. "Chrono Jet", with with the new System "Stride", can reveal its true might. If you make a Deck that centers around Stride, we definitely recommend this Unit! Get your hands on this Trial Deck, and experience Stride for yourself!! [What is Gear Chronicle?] From the mysterious gate unearthed in the ancient ruins of "Dark Zone", an army suddenly appeared. Lead by the "Gear Dragons", creatures with the ability to transcend time and space, this army is continuing their trip of travelling through every time and dimension. As more and more people sided with the powers and desires of the Gear Dragons as their friends and allies, they joined the Gear Dragons' journey through the time-space continuum. Although every nation of Cray is watching their activities and investigating what's going on, their purposes and goals here are currently unknown.
