“Slight pacing issues for a film that should have been 30mins longer, but a fun explosive return as you’d expect a sequel to a 20 year old film to be,worth the IMAX3D ticket too.”

“Both films hit the right childhood cartoon adaptation button that took us back and reminded us why we wanted to see these movies made in the first place.”

OSCAR WINNER BRIE LARSON IS CAPTAIN MARVEL
Well not yet,but she is certainly the frontrunner now since no word on the last choice of Rebecca Ferguson. This is an excellent choice if the deal goes through because in our eyes she also would've been an fantastic(puns)Sue Storm aka Invisible Woman in a potential Marvel Studios Fantastic Four. But even if that never happens the fact she could be inducted into the MCU makes our heart beat.
So cross fingers this wonderful actress suits up and kicks some intergalactic ass when she’s introduced in Avengers:Infinity War Part One(title soon to be changed)May 4th,2018.
Just picturing her in action has already got us pumped.
Captain Marvel gets her solo film March 9th,2019 in all formats we presume.
A nice haul of ST stuff this morning, Trekkers! First off check out the new trailer!
Exponentially bigger and better than the last trailer we saw, this has us excited for the new addition to the Abramverse Star Trek.Furthermore, check out the official poster and the exclusive Fan Event poster that pays homage to the Star Trek:The Motion Picture poster.
In our opinion the exclusive Fan Event poster should he the films official poster, everything about it screams Star Trek for obvious reasons. But the official one is still rather pretty and captures the essence of the show in a shit a few waves of colors.
Star Trek Beyond blasts into our theaters July 22nd in RealD3D,IMAX3D,standard and other large format screens.
Dr.Ian Malcolm joins the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
Well not exactly.Jeff Goldblum has been confirmed to join the cast of Thor:Ragnorak as the Grandmaster. Also revealed to be joining has been Karl Urban(Star Trek,LOTR:The Two Towers) as Skurge,Tessa Thompson has been confirmed to play Valkyrie, and now officially confirmed by Feige himself Cate Blanchett as Hela and Mark Ruffalo returns as Bruce Banner/Hulk.
This is HUGE.
The other day we discussed the possibility of Sam Neill joining this prestigious cast because of his recent work with director Taika Waititi in Hunt of the Wilderpeople. So hearing that as least one former JP cast member has joined has us giddy in our Spider-Man underoos.
Theres still time to throw him in the mix.
Thor Ragnorak releases Hel upon Earth November 3rd,2017 in of course IMAX3D,RealD3D,standard,and other large format screens.
CBS got a little excited and premiered a teaser for their upcoming new Star Trek series!
Set within the canon of TOS apparently were getting an anthology style version of the series. Its going to be premiering on CBS in January 2017.
We dig the new look and teasing the main recognizable theme. With the Abrams look but the storytelling of the originals this could be rather awesome. We shall see when we get updates on casting and directors.
So much going on we almost forgot Michael Bay and co have decided to start filming a new TF film next month. So naturally today the studio revealed the title of said sequel...
The font looks a bit animated but maybe thats just the stylistic choice the marketing boys went with.Either way things are going to go boom again very soon in Detroit starting June 6th.Bay of course is directing with Marky Mark(Mark Wahlberg)returning but with newcomers Isabela Moner and Jerrod Carmichael.Arm Marcum,Matt Holloway, and Ken Nolan of the Writers Room have provided the screenplay to this explosive opus.
Transformers:The Last Knight will undoubtedly blow up theaters in all formats June 23rd,2017.
“Civil War, more so than either Avengers Movie, is the definitive proof that when done correctly a Cinematic Universe is a fantastic tool for exploring characters both in their individual development and interactions with each other”
