Day 4 of @sonic-au-august

If there is one thing important to Sonic, its helping out his friends. Especially as they all grow older and him needing to find something to do. As life has become peaceful without Eggman around. But the one thing, most important to him, is his grumpy husband and their adopted child Azure.

A bit more messy than the previous days. Should be better again for day 5

Heya, first thing I'm sharing on here is for the @sonic-au-august

I decided to pretty much make an account for this event so bare with me as I learn how everything works.

To speak a bit about the AU I want to mainly focus on, Its called Gem Deities. The main character, Azure was rescued as a child by Sonic and Shadow who take care of him. I'll try to sprinkle in some information with every prompt.

Day 14 of @sonic-au-august

Home for Azure means a place of comfort. Somewhere he feels safe and appreciated. Before his travel, he saw his parents and their friends as his main home. During his travel, meeting more people made him find new homes with his friends.

I don't like this summer heat, please make it colder again. I can't focus on drawing with these temperatures.

Day 7 of @sonic-au-august

Azure has always dealt with nightmares and still does from time to time. During those sleepless nights, Sonic would talk about his countless adventures he had. These stories inspired Azure to go out on his own journey to travel. To have his own adventure.

Side notes: This was my first time drawing Neo. Most of the games stories are canon to Gem Deities.

Day 5 of @sonic-au-august

When Azure returned home for a quick stop and talked about what he experienced so far, Sonic couldn't resist but get excited. He was now looking forward to join his son's travel. Shadow decided to tag along to keep an eye on his husband. Both unknowingly getting themselves further involved in Azure's destiny

Day 12 of @sonic-au-august

When Sonic took Azure on a day trip to Angel Island, he quickly learned that it might not be the best idea to try teaching his kid how to spin dash near the master Emerald. Certainly was a mistake, that Sonic now hopes Knuckles won't suspect him to be in relation to.

Both better hope Knuckles doesn't find out that it was them. If I had finished my Knuckles Au design, I would have added him as well. But unfortunately that's not the case.

Day 13 of @sonic-au-august

I don't really have any lore thing to say, as todays prompt really gave me trouble. The recent warm temperatures where I live might also be a factor x'D Either way, my thoughts were that since Azure came into their life, it started a new chapter for Sonic and Shadow. One where they had a lot still to learn as parents, something they'd be living through together.

Day 2 of @sonic-au-august

Even after years have passed, once a year, Shadow will remember Maria and how much she meant to him. In honor for her, he spends a week to recall all the good memories and lessons she gave him. Sonic and Azure, who never met Maria, comfort Shadow through the week. When Azure was still was a child, he didn't quite understand, but as he grew older, it started to make sense. Since in a way, he too lost family at a vulnerable time in his life. Its become one of their bonding experiences.

Man... This is making me sob again. Shadow is truly lucky to now have found a family that is there for him when he needs comfort the most.
