I love playing with drummers, like... sitting really close to drummers. Like, it's just, like, [...] the visual and physicality of, like, playing together, you know? And, Fay, in Savages, I kind of had her from the peripheral vision of my eye... you know, like, exactly when she raised her hands and when it was gonna hit... and that kind of like, I just, I just always loved that connection, you know?
