Falling Universe: Introducing!
“I saw you finding us!” the girl giggled excitedly.
“We both did,” the boy grumbled, elbowing the girl.
Bee raised an amused brow at the duo - two off-color sapphires, both sporting two eyes apiece. “Did you now?” he chuckled as he knelt down before them, sly smirk adorning his lips. “See anything else in that future vision of yours?”
“That it’s going to be really difficult to get back to the ship,” the boy muttered, looking away despondently.
“But that we make it there all together!” the girl exclaimed.
“Hm. One who sees the negative aspects of the future and one who sees the positive - a matched set, so to speak. Fascinating!” Bee grinned as he stood, offering his more normal hands out for the two gems to take. “Do you have names yet?”
“I’m Mabel,” the girl introduced herself with a little curtsy before popping up and grabbing the proffered hand, leaving the older gem quite charmed. “And this is my twin, Dipper!” The boy nodded his head once as he tentatively reached out to grasp Bee’s other hand.
“Twins,” Bee whispered as he stared, stunned, at the two young gems. “Well, I’ll be. You’re a rare cut, indeed, Mabel and Dipper. Never could have guessed I’d meet you two. Fortune seems to be in my favor! Wink!” He winked at the two with his largest eye, earning a delighted laugh from Mabel. “Now, how about you two tell me how you got all the way out here while we head back!”
"Finally!" I hear you scream, the riot finally dying down outside my window.
What, you thought we wouldn't have Mabel and Dipper in this AU? For shame! @micaxiii did an amazing job with their design!
Dipper is a Parti Sapphire, while Mabel is a Purple Star Sapphire (I know she looks more pink, but I swear I took every one of her colors directly from purple sapphires!). As you can obviously see, they both have two eyes, making them Off-Colors. Add to that their inability to see the full future, and you've got two gems that Homeworld is not all that fond of!
You can't see their gems here, but Dipper's is placed on his forehead, while Mabel's is on her upper left arm. (check them out down below!)
