I need more stories where an antagonist swaps the protagonist's sex to try and fuck with them and throw them off, only for the person to be agender or gender apathetic or something similar and their problems are less to do with being uncomfortable about their presentation and more to do with a change in weight distribution. Afab people tend to have a lower center of gravity and have to adjust how they reach for or move around things because of boobs or hips being in the way so an amab person may overbalance or run into more things than usual if suddenly swapped. The same problems in reverse for afab people suddenly being made male, they may comedically dodge around things forgetting they no longer have the same mass in certain areas while smacking their widened shoulders into all corners and doorframes, and accidental hurt themselves forgetting they have dick and balls to be careful off (like accidentally sitting on them or not protecting themselves properly in a fight or something).
Like, I want the main problem with the body sex-swap to not be "AAAAH! I'M A [BOY/GIRL]!! HOW EMBARRASSING!" and instead be them tripping on air. Their height shouldn't change at all either. It's literally just them figuring out how to move with their new body proportions before kicking the bad guy's ass as usual.
It might be funny if the people around them are freaking out, but only if it's in a non-transphobic way and more in a "I'm concerned about your mental health over this non-consensual body mod" way. Once they realize the protagonist couldn't care less, everyone just shrugs and moves on. There's not even solid planning to undo it because it’s such a non-issue.
And if you're feeling angsty, you can add in the protagonist interacting with people not in the know and them making things wildly uncomfortable for the protagonist by treating protagonist/ expecting them to behave in a way socially acceptable to their perceived gender. Like, an afab being made fun of for being "soft" for not being "masculine" enough or being gentle and kind the way they were just expected to be when seen as female, or an amab suddenly dealing with people making comments about their appearance or attitude when they're literally just dressed normal or isn't smiling or just calmly pointed something out to help or people just expecting protagonist to let them into protagonist's space without asking or being demeaned at a task the protagonist has done a million times before and could do better than whoever isn't letting them because "a woman can do this or that". Protagonist should get frustrated and call people out for their behavior before going to mope with their friends.
They come away from the swapping experience with a greater understanding of gender perception and how much they give zero fucks about their own.
Just pure "call me whatever gender you want, I'll still kick your ass".
