A presentation term for those who wish to present promiscuous and/or sexuality active, but have limitations / cannot do so due to being tmasc / trans men / transsexual men.

Anyone who considers themselves transmasculine, trans men, transsexual men, etc can use this term.

How do the ROs presentations vary based on their genders?

Aside from just a more masculine / more feminine physique...

Salvatore: Would have medium length hair that falls well past their shoulders (F), or just to their ears (M). Otherwise, that's really about it; they still wear the same robes and ornaments.

Luciel: Probably the only one who doesn't change very much at all. Same hair length, even very similar features; naturally androgynous. Would still wear the same black robes.

Ciocana: hair that's just past their shoulders (F), or long and messy that's up to their ears (M). Prefers layered and excessive dresses (F), or a very neat dark suit (M). Has no qualms about going between either of those clothes, however.

Alessi: They have bountiful curls, styled in an afro that reaches their shoulders (F), or styled into a curly drop fade (M). In both presentations, they prefer to wear practical clothing that allows them to move freely.

We talk about being masculine, feminine, androgynous as though they were simple things. As though most people fall simply into one category all the time. As though it were generally easy to present in masculine, feminine, and androgynous ways if you ever want to. As though what’s seen as masculine on one person isn’t seen as feminine on another. I think language is flawed and most posts don’t have time to get into it, but it’s actually really complicated. What it means to be “feminine presenting” or “masculine presenting” is completely different to different people and looks completely different on different people. It doesn’t help that we use feminine and masculine to sometimes refer to gender and sometimes refer to gender roles and sometimes as gender presentation at different times. 

I think it’s just really worth keeping in mind if you’re trying to talk about or think deeply about the way gender and gender presentation functions and how it can affect how people see you.

Femme

Someone who experiences queer femininity and gender nonconformity. A broad, commonly accepted definition of femme is an “identity [which] encapsulates femininity that is dislocated from, and not necessitating, a female [assigned] body/identity and femininity that is embodied by those who are culturally denied ‘proper womanhood,’” though it can mean many different things to different people. Femme has a long history, and it’s important to remember that it is not necessary to identify as a lesbian, be attracted to women, be explicitly feminine, or even identify as a woman to be femme.
