I can't understand people who put their house up for sale but aren't prepared to move. I spent months emptying out closets & sorting treasure from trash, moved all my personal shit into a POD, & staged the house BEFORE I called a realtor. Are they thinking, let's see if anyone will buy it before we go to any trouble? I dunno.

I've already found another house in Fairview that's only $107K. It's 3/2 but move-in-ready, dammit, w/ lovely hardwood floors, new appliances, & everything newly painted in shades of gray. I don't relate to this color scheme that is currently dominating the real estate market but it's only paint. I can fix that after I move in.

I'm not giving up the hunt. I have no choice.

AKA: I have a minor gripe with something and I kind of want to speak to it, you know?

regardless, why is it that the main posts I see under the “faekin” tag is like... fairies? no shame to the more modern day versions of them (i.e. Tinkerbell), I actually quite like them myself, they’re just not what I’m kin w/. so... where do the faekin that are closer to the older tales go? I’m curious if there’s even more than a handful out there? (I know, I know, curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back!)

I just think it’s an odd observation, is all. I can tell you for certain, however, that I do not remember being tiny or cute or any thing of that nature. I do remember my antlers, many eyes, my teeth, and the kind of quiet watching from afar.

I’ve been seeing so many of those ‘would you trust ‘this character’ to hold your drink at a party and I want to do it with my muses :)

Alectrona - Yes. I know she would be very serious about protecting my drink, and threaten anyone who try to mess with it.

Atê - Not really. She would either immediately drink it, or mess with it then give it to someone else because she got tired of waiting for me to come back (not even a full two minutes later) and watch them go absolutely wild.

Diamánti - No. They would protect it for me, but during the process accidentally get glitter in the drink, then say it’s an improvement and offer to turn me into an vampire so I can be immortal and sparkle in the sun. 

Lethe -  Hell no. She would mean well, but be unable to resist dipping her finger in the drink and/or taking a sip because she forgot what she was supposed to be doing with it. Then when I come back to take my drink, I end up becoming a blank slate because my dumb ass trusted the personification of forgetfulness with a liquid.

Limos - Another no. The moment the cup touched her hand the drink would dry up. She’d claim it was an accident, but it wouldn’t be. Either that or she’d take it from me before I asked her to hold it and drink it all, then tell me to get her another drink.

Medusa - Yes. Anyone who tried to take or mess with the drink would be turned into stone. But in return I’d probably have to listen to a rant about Poseidon and Athena. 

Sally - Absolutely. I don’t feel like I need to say why.
