theres something so damn satisfying to me about how General Stephen Strange represents Stephen's pain and how our Stephen choosing to rehabilitate him (even if it takes 1,000 years) reads as a metaphor for healing from mental trauma and self-forgiveness, much like how Mr. Misery acted as a metaphor for Stephen's depression. jed mckay i owe you my life.

Also something about the way Jed reinforces that Stephen is first a healer, not a sorcerer. And that he almost threw it all way when his first impulse to losing the mantle was to use General Strange against Victor, but gave up the moment he saw how happy and lighthearted he was, reading it as a way for him to move on and accept that not everything was under his control, one more sign of his own process of healing. Jed has our hearts and souls 😭
