An extremely lucky week for Annie! She managed to win $1000 dollars by placing first in a karaoke contest. Some of it she used to buy herself an outfit for a job interview. She succeeding in getting the job at a book retail store in Magnolia Promenade.
The week ended in a blind date from a secret admirer at the Spice festival. At first she didn't think they were going to show up, so she tasted some of the free food.
Then a blonde haired man sat beside her.
He introduced himself as Kyle and invited her to join the Spicy Curry contest. They both lost though but it was still all in good fun. After drinking a glass of milk, Kyle offered to join her in trying the bubble hookah. It made her giggly and they talked about a lot of things she couldn't remember.
The night ended with the offer for another date. She said yes if he agreed to take a selfie with her.
Which she surprised him with a kiss on the cheek.

The gen alpha experience is feeling incredibly self aware compared to all these other people explaining how they were at your age and having this weird blurry mental age where you’re constantly questioning whether you’re mature for your age or just think you are.
Tau Alphabet Legacy - Generation A, Chapter 9 - An Age of Goodbyes
Molly announces to the family that Aya is the Generation A heir.
Abbott is initially upset, but he later realizes he’s just still stressed about his fight with Jerry and apologizes.
This realization is enough for him to initiate making amends, as well as future plans! Our eldest kid is engaged, wooh!
Alfred ages up into a young adult. He adds Coffee Lover* to his list of traits.
*KiaraSims trait
Tiffanie tells Aya that if they’re going to date, she needs it to be exclusive. Aya is pretty smitten with her at this point, so she agrees.
Abbott and Jerry have a small ceremony with immediate family present. They move out together later that night. I’m gonna miss them :(
Arielle comes over with news. She’s pregnant!! Apparently that one risky woohoo they had at his birthday party was enough to do the trick.
Alfred is pretty excited to be a dad.
Aya proves she’s serious about Tiffanie the old fashioned way. Putting out a fire at Tiffanie’s house.
It does seem like it worked.
Autumn struggles with an unrequited crush… on Kira’s (mean girl from last chapter) boyfriend, no less!
She opens up to Alfred about it, and he reminds her that she won’t have to chase the right one.
And with those words of wisdom, Alfred says his goodbyes and moves in with Arielle to prepare for their new baby. The house feels a lot emptier without our boys : / but next chapter we welcome a new heir at the helm, so that’s exciting!

You know what makes me mad? Older people making fun of the younger generation just because they might not understand older technology or smth
My dad has asked people my age if we know how to use a rotary phone. I haven't had to use one and they aren't in use anymore so does it matter?? I do know but still!
Just saw a tiktok of a girl not knowing how to open a c casette tape thingy and the comments made me so mad. "Younger people have no common sense", "we are doomed", "kids these days", "they would not have survived our childhoods", "we were the last generation with common sense".
And then people get mad when gen z laughs at older people for not knowing modern technology. It's fair for the adults to make fun of gen z but not the other way around. Then it's about lack of respect. "She taught you how to use a spoon." So?
I'm not telling people to not respect their elders. I just wish they stopped disrespecting the younger generation. Things change and that's okay. It's a good thing that we didn't have to go through some of the hardships of your childhood.
Technology has changed too, it's more streamlined and simple. We don't have to use tape recorders to listen to our favourite songs. We don't have to use the limited number of buttons on a phone to type. We don't have to wait for tv channels to show our favourite shows cuz most likely they can be watched online. It's not bad, it's easier, and it was the older generation that made these changes in the first place.
There are exceptions, sure. Every generation has. But an entire generation - or several - doesn't have to be looked down upon just because they grew up in a different world.
Change is not bad.
Ugh, thanks for coming to my ted talk. Rant over.
