Generic Greeting Present: Four We’re proud to present Four - an exhibition celebrating our fourth year as a collective. The exhibition will take place at Takk and will feature work from 13 of Generic Greeting’s artists responding to the quote: “I am afraid of towns. But you mustn’t leave them. If you venture too far, you come to the Vegetation Belt… In a town, if you know how to go about it, and choose the times when the animals are digesting or sleeping in their holes, behind the heaps of organic detritus, you rarely come across anything but minerals” taken from Jean-Paul Satre’s novel Nausea. The exhibition will be launched from 6pm with the soundtrack being provided by GG DJs: Big War Szajna DJ Croww & Kernon. We have also had a cask of Hawkshead Brewery's Windemere Pale Ale kindly donated by the brewery for free consumption on the night.
