A generous God
“He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all - how he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?” - Romans 8:32
Yes, He is so generous, he can give us all things. However, he is not a genie in a bottle that all you have to do is rub the bottle and then you are calling all the shots. And if you are done, he will just go back in the bottle. If that is your view of God, then you are much greater than he, because he comes and goes at your command.
No, he is definitely not a genie in a bottle. He cares so much. He cares for the condition of our hearts. He knows what can harm us, that’s why, He didn’t give everything to us. Imagine this scenario, there is a child who wants a very sharp knife and he ask his father to gave it to him. Do you think the father would ever gave the knife to his child? Of course not, the child may want it very badly, but the father knows what is the right thing for his child. That scenario is the same for us. Our heavenly Father knows what will harm us and what will not. He is just protecting us because He loves us so much.
Just wait patiently because God has a more perfect plan for your life. ;))
