I don't know why I fell for the fandom propaganda that Guizhong "civilized" Zhongli. (It's something I see in a decent amount of fics. And uhh... Mostly on Tiktok...) When the proof was right in front of me all along??

Wouldn't it make more sense that the one titled the "Prime of Adepti" preceded all the adepti that follow?

Just saying this because in the Temple of Space World Quest, a guy says that he came from the Shanhui Fort (a civilization which Morax presided over) before the Guili Assembly was founded.

Hey so. Kaeya canonically loves romance novels right.

[unnecessarily detailed elaboration] : during the first Mondstadt archon quest, the riddle he gives us to follow reads like a poem. One of the clues is to “find the heart of clear springs”, and he makes up some line about passion coming from the people bathing in the river.

During Noelle’s hangout event, she mentions reading romance novels to understand the concept of love, quoting a few of the books. and like. those are things Kaeya has said before.

Has he been quoting these books at us the whole time because i would Not be surprised.

AND THERE’S MORE !! Heart of Clear Springs is a readable item, as well as one or two other romance novels (did i mention all these books are in the Knights of Favonius library) (he has easy access to them). The story is that a boy falls in love with a fairy of the river and promises to wait for her forever, but she hides from him because she couldn’t bear falling in love only to lose him.

^ a few excerpts <3 the second one is romance/fantasy about a magical antique shop.

Also just aside from the fact that Kaeya is a perfect flirty nerd, some of the titles for his talents/constellations do mirror lines from Heart of Clear Springs.

In case some of you are curious, I'm afraid none of Dottore's sprites involve him having eyes or a very human-looking body(Yes you do get to see him shirtless hehe). This is due to my personal headcanon that Prime's original body is long gone. Yap alert! Art at the bottom.

So, Dottore has been confirmed to have been born at LEAST 500 years ago, after the Cataclysm. The Fatui were created around that time as well. The Tatarasuna incident happened 400 years ago, and by that time Dottore was already an established Harbinger(and the second, no less) so he's got to be quite old.

Dottore's entire character revolves around finding out how to twist himself into a divine shape and give up on his mortal shell. What could piss him off more than watching himself rot away with age?

Let's not forget he's definitely the type of perfectionist to hold profound disdain for himself, he's definitely seething from experiencing a basic part of human life. And then BAM, he meets this artifical puppet who's beautiful and perfect and unblemished.

So, as soon as he gets his hands on Scaramouche, I believe that's when he decides to create an artificial body for himself that he can use permanently. There is no Prime, there is only his consciousness spread out over twenty-four bodies as he starts making more Segments. I see him as not even having a brain made of flesh but rather akin to a hard drive, especially since his ingame model behind the mask doesn't seem to hold anything inside it's head. To me he's like a living ship of Theseus, where every part has been replaced and you can't even be sure there's anything left of him in there.

I also fully believe that Prime(so, the fleshy one) was super old before he went full cyborg, not old as in on the verge of dying but old enough to disguise himself as Escher who looked middle-aged. We'll know in the next AQ if he actually can shapeshift or if that was just a cool transition from hoyo 🙏

Anyways, here's a doodle of Prime back in the day. Hope this made sense, probably not since it's 7 am and I haven't slept.

a tune for you (dottolone/panttore)

pantalone learning to play the piano after his husband's death. listening to dottore play beautiful melodies on the piano had once been the highlight of his days. and yet, all he had left was the painful reminder that his husband was no longer here. pantalone was alone, his other half was gone.

whenever he tried to read the sheet music, tears would immediately build up in his eyes. wet droplets fell onto the piano keys as his hands trembled. it was incredibly difficult for pantalone to maintain his composure, holding back a sob. but he was determined to continue, even if his heart was in pain.

and somehow, he did manage to finish the song before finally crumbling into an emotional mess. all he could do was bury his face into his hands and cry. if dottore was here, would he praise him for his performance?

regardless, at least he was able to play one last tune for his beloved husband.

18 can be so stubborn sometimes but in a good way. he doesn't want to admit that he wants attention, to be pampered.

all versions of dottore are utterly precious to pantalone, he doesn't mind spoiling them. the moment 18 makes his frustration very clear to the banker, pantalone wouldn't hesitate to treat him softer.

every greeting is followed by a soft pat on the forehead, maybe a 'good job' or 'i hope your day is going well."

pantalone would even stash sweets into his pockets, offering one to 18, who would try to deny it but the candy looks very tempting (he still took one regardless)

that infuriating smile on pantalone's face only made 18 more frustrated. but does he really hate the affection, the attention and praise? not at all, he just values his pride over his feelings lmao

So my hopes of dottore becoming playable have kind of shattered and honestly since I ship dottore and pantielone, seeing them say goodbye to each other was kinda heartbreaking to me like c'mon genshin at least kiss the brick before throwing it at me :(

like I get it he is an irredeemable piece of shit but I can fix him right?

But he must come back later on I mean why would they make a chibi of him only for one livestream like there's a small park of hope in me but idk. Anyway if anyone minds cheering up a hardcore dottore fan please feed into my delusions it would mean the world to me

Even though it's unlikely that all descenders have personal connections, I imagine that the others must have some kind of effect on the Traveler's thoughts about how they're categorized by the world, right?

How do they feel about the fact that the last person like them died and their remains were used to make the gnoses?

People carry a gnosis around for what it is now, rarely acknowledging who it used to be. If the same happened to them, would anyone know it used to be them?

Would they ever wonder if someone in Teyvat would be willing to do the same to them? To tear them to pieces and use what's left of them for the power it could grant? If they were desperate enough for a gnosis, would they consider it?

If the heavenly principles were okay with a descender entering Teyvat but not leaving, could there be a plan to use them like they did the last?

Most or many people approach the Traveler or get involved with them initially because of what they can provide. This doesn't make them fake friends necessarily especially because the friendship grows from there, but it's still a very common thing. What if that were taken to the extreme?
