I’m so glad Taio sparks joy for you!

He grew up an only child. His extended family is big, but the next-youngest cousins are nearly 10 years older than him and were more like aunties and uncles than siblings. The human and elf kids in the village called him Little Lamb and always made him wrestle them two-on-one, but he was well-liked…he just never really was close to any one friend.

Bull is the first person Taio has really met who feels like a big brother to him.

Their wrestling matches are one-on-one and clear the Skyhold courtyard

Bull also, in many ways, takes the place of the father Taio lost. After years helping guard his village, leading merc squadrons and having to earn his keep by being The Big Guy, it’s nice for Taio to have someone around to make him feel a little bit smaller.

Pls tell me danthony is a fucking joke

hello anon 🌸 now, i’ve been receiving a few of these, so i’ll explain how i see it personally. so, i do consider danthony as a joke. i find it funny and cute and light-hearted and, loving anthony as a creator as well as a person, i am happy to see he gets attention from the phandom.

the fact that they started to interact more together publicly is a simple effect to the popularity of their recent collab and as for the part of the video where dan states his attraction towards him, it was obviously sketched (otherwise they might have wanted that out). 

dan (and phil) and anthony have been good friends for years and with the latter leaving smosh for a solo career and stating he admired the audience they built, i personally see the whole thing as dan trying to help a friend out (they both share a similar humour that could gather a similar audience).

now, i am not saying anthony would not be able to gather his own audience, but having him collab with dan (and probably phil if i am not mistaken) gives him the chance to stand out as a person rather than half of a duo (or as “that guy that left smosh”) and to be viewed as such by one of the strongest youtube community.

so, i hope that calmed you a bit anon 🌸 phan is safe, danthony is just good-hearted banters and i am happy anthony gets his share of fanarts since it makes him happy 🌸 lots of love, stay safe xxxx

does Dorian tell Tao everything he knows about wine. like aging, good grape farms, wine drama. can Tiao even tell the difference. btw I love your Inquisitor so much

He does! And the more Dorian drinks, the more he talks.

Dorian goes on about grape varietal patents and soil nutrients with a level of detail that he’d normally apply to thaumaturgical equations and alchemical formulas — the academic in him has a penchant for rambling, and a small part of him is convinced that, if he talks too elaborately about magic, Taio will get bored or insulted or creeped out (or some other irrational worry that would never actually occur because Taio would listen to him read the phone book if Thedas had one) so he sticks to safe things, imagining it wouldn’t be so bad if that was all they had to think about.

Taio definitely has a palate for wine, but he doesn’t devote much time and energy to expanding it. Mostly, he likes listening to Dorian talk the husbandry and logistics of it, the mundanity. He finds it soothing. It reminds him in a distant way of the boring farm village where he was raised, and the lovely though unlikely image of Dorian with dirt under his nails napping on a sun-beaten terrace, an expanse of vineyards on all sides keeping the outside world away.

Do you hc Bull and Cullen as dom and sub respectively always or do you think that from time to time they switch to spice things up?

I don’t see Dom!Cullen much at all in my preferred pairings, but it’s always a nice change of pace when I do! My personal read of Cullen has always been as someone craving guidance and reassurance. So I think it sort of depends on what context you’re thinking about D/s in. If we’re talking Iight games and fooling around, yeah, Cullen would definitely be up for getting messy with Bull in a compromising position.

As far as D/s as a deeply emotional and serious power play, I’m not so sure. My particular fic-verse Cullen is coming to terms with feeling a sense of safety and an ability to step away from his institutionalized role of hurting people, so I don’t know that he’d consider himself in a dominant role until he’s in a better place with that. That being said, he knows Bull has sought out submissive headspace with others in the past and benefits from it, and he’d definitely want to give Bull that if he could.

So yes! I do think they probably start flipping the script eventually, but Cullen lets Bull do the driving for quite a while before that happens.

Edit: I saw two totally unrelated mentions of a lack of sub!Cullen today, before I got this ask. This goes to show what a narrow strip of ships I occupy because he bottoms in pretty much every fic I’ve ever read :P Further proof that my opinion should count for very, very little to those who disagree with it <3
