My last classes in college as undergrad student

So FINALLY, I’m on senior semester and I chose some extra classes with my only compulsory class. So, here it is!

Geoprocessing: Basically, advanced studies in GeoInfo and mapping software

Costal Geomorphology: Yeah, I needed to take it again. It’s the last compulsory one, it studies the geographical forms from costal areas. I suck on this? Yeah, but I need my diploma.

Brazilian Climatology: Special topics in Brazilian climate

Climate Variability: I really dunno how explain this one… basically, what’s a normal climate variation and what’s an anomaly??? Something like that!

And, of course, I have the final grad project (a study about native plants in costal areas as a tool for mitigation of climate change’s consequences) and the internship in geography

doodling maps of made up worlds in the corners of your notes

a growing list of places you want to visit

inhaling the steam from a fresh pot of tea

photographs of famous landmarks pinned to your bulletin board

a miniature compass hanging like a pendant from a chain around your neck

knowing the importance of a global perspective

26.5.19 I did my first exam! I didn't say straight away because I was feeling a bit funny about it, but now I'm revising for my second and last ever exam of uni! Also who knows groovy chick?? My mum got me these amazing groovy chick socks. X Emily

Shit, this is a thing.

5 times my dissertation advisor and I have completely strayed off topic and yet were still somehow on topic:

1. We discussed in depth whether 'Frozen' was a film about climate change, (he's not seen it)

2. Discussed whether 'The Ice Age' films were actually accurate in that Scrat the Squirrel supposedly does one thing that causes the melting of the ice age etc and that in fact Scrat reflects modern humanity and the way we're treating the planet.

3. Again, back to frozen, he told me that he freezes his jeans. It apparently freezing kills the bacteria on your clothes, and that there's a whole group that freeze clothing as its more environmentally friendly

4. Over a teams meeting giggled at the fact that another staff member genuinely looks and sounds like Gru from Despicable Me, and that most staff think so as well (tho he's a lovely guy and sorts any problems out that anyone has)

5. The Day after Tomorrow is fairly accurate if you slowed it down like x100.
