I quickly drew blixer from @tetraquark373 AU ehhhh cuz he deserves more love and because I hadn't drawn him that much yet.

More lore details under the cut (nothing that would give spoilers tho)
The Mainland of Geometrika is divided into two main sections:
- The Flora Paradise(AKA Paradise)
- The Outskirts of Paradise(AKA The Outskirts)
Paradise lies at the very center, and hosts the Trigonome Tree(oh wow I wonder what that is /silly). It's where Dalet and Chip are from, and where most flowers(especially cacti in specific) are from.
The Outskirts surround Paradise from all directions, and include a vast variety of different biomes and sights to explore, such as meadows, taigas, plains, jungles, the Hex Desert, stony shores, the list goes on...
It's also where most of shape history played out - wars, conflicts, empires, expansions, etc - as Paradise remained more peaceful and stable for its existence. Due to this, the wider amount and variety of shapes live in the Outskirts.
Paradise and the Outskirts(sorry for repeating too much) are separated by the mountain ranges, which serve as a natural barrier between the two. They are usually very hard to get past, but it's not just for geographical reasons - there's still something else...
Claman came from a more urbanized region within the Outskirts, but had to run away due to reasons...(again, Chip will explain later vovb)

So as it turns out, after revamping Nate and Zeno's lore a tad bit time and time again, I think me cans try and summarize what happens overall XD

(LONG YAPPERY AND SCROLL WARNING, AS WELL AS A WARNING FOR SLIGHTLY GOREY/BODY HORROR? STUFF <:V)
In any JSAB RP/AU, Nate and Zeno have a similar start:
Nate tames a large beast found in the forest and names him Zeno. The beast seems to have greater than average intelligence, and after insisting VERY MUCH to stick to Nate, they form a duo :3
Nathan is a traveler, having left his home due to many unfortunate events that happened a long time ago. However, due to difficulty recovering from it all, he roams the lands of JSAB/Paradise/Geometrika(the last one being my own AU :3) working freelance as an engineer doing all sorts of different gigs.
Zeno on the other hand is a literal destruction and killing machine, not being very friendly but always remaining impressively loyal(and attached) to Nate.

Nathaniel can wield Triangle Shards(or "Trig Shards" as they're known in my AU) for reasons that are yet to be explained. I'm still trying to decide how am I gonna explain that ^^;
And with time, Nathan ends up even meeting with and assisting the Heroes/Guardians/JSAB's Player Characters!
As of having TONS of contacts all around Paradise/JSAB/Geometrika and being a very skilled fighter, he proves himself very useful for the team(especially with being resourceful and quite smart in multiple fields).
Now, this is how I start in most RPs, usually with meeting up with the heroes. Now for the plot points I try working out with Nate and Zeno >w<
This is where it gets gooooooooooooood >:3c
At a given moment in RP/AU, the two meet up with the Treeangle/Trig Tree/Big Tree thingy in JSAB and it manages to fully purify Zeno(who was half purified previously) and return him to his original form, as of being of a species similar to Blixer's.
The last drawing is an old design before I managed to further improve my artstyle ^^;
When he was restored, however, he didn't have that sparkle pin. Instead, the Tree connected him to Nathan, and Nathan also changed form/outfit a bit! :D

And his final form after the Tree connects him to Zeno! (Also in new and old artstyle XD)
He also didn't have the square pin at first.
Now, the next plot point after that is that Nathan helps Zeno regain his speech and motor skills, and that's when they begin finding out that Zeno...wasn't the only shape generated by Blixer/Fresh/Dub...
There were in fact, more...MANY more...
And THAT'S where Nate and Zeno come in to help the heroes...
If you look well enough, Zeno has rings glued to the back of his fists. Those are his power rings, forged in the Volcano out of Trig Shards/Triangle Shards themselves and painfully implanted onto Zeno TvT
With Nathan's skills and Zeno's strength, however, they form a strong duo to tame and guard the other monsters, and avoid them from hurting others and causing destruction, as they have also been unleashed into the wild...
Now, during these quests, Zeno grows even more attached to Nathaniel, and despite Nathan having a tendency to try and be more independent, he decides to comfort his close friend by making a sparkle pin to give him, and Nathan keeps the square pin as a mark that, whatever happens to all the monsters once their own forms are restored and they are fully purified, Nate and Zeno will stay together no matter what.
The last plot point I work out in RPs/AUs is Nathan's corruption...
As it turns out, Nate goes through a bit of an unnatural process of corruption thanks to @hoopaworshiperlol's darn flicking OC >:V
And he goes from the friendly reliable and fun-loving sparkle shape to this sadistic manipulating piece of starch...
His name is Nocturniel >:V
He even had a QnA of his own in the Sanctuary server ToT
Sooo...I'm not gonna explain his arc here lel :P
But I will let you guys know that his theme is "At the Speed of Light" vovb
(Get it bc Nate is "Lightspeed" so he's- okay I'll shut up now...)
Now, his arc...does vary A TON more
Mainly due to the very meta nature of his character TvT
But generally he uhh...does try to manipulate Nate into letting him take over...he talks to Nathaniel through something called the "Mindscape" to stop the sparkle from trying to get back control of himself
(I'd send more art but alas, Tumblr says I reached the max ToT)
Anywayers, there's a happ ending and Nate gets purified at the end :3
In some AUs they become a fr couple X'D, in others they remain as very close friends/brothers, and so on :P

The plant shapes were inspired by both the cacti in JSAB, them being a very much prominent part of this shape type population, as well as of many plant OCs from my friend @geegeenocheese(SHE IS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME CHAT FR).
So generally plant shapes aren't just the JSAB cacti, but also any literal plant, really.
What's most interesting to note about them is how the "plant" part comes quite literally here. As an example, not all plant shapes need to eat, really - many leading lifestyles possibly quite different to that of most shapes.
Many rely solely on sunlight and nutrient supplements for their sustenance, and their bodies are naturally attuned to nature as a whole, meaning they are the most sensible shapes to processed food and shape-made environments.
This doesn’t mean a plant can’t live in a large metropolis for instance, it only means it’d be a bit biologically harder for them to sustain themselves well in such a high-tech and processed environment. Note that some plants even do eat, really! Most simply don't need and/or don't want to.
Plant shapes are frequently seen as “farmers” or “countryside” people, often associated with a more rural lifestyle and culture. This, of course, isn’t necessarily true, let alone apply to all plants. Some live in large urban areas, others inhabit smaller villages, some live alone indeed in their own farms, and some might even be lone adventurors all around Geometrika!
Personally, I find Plant shapes to be really whimsy, not particularly due to a culture of sorts, but because they really are quite carefree given the many possible lives they can lead, having their needs easier to meet with nature's help.
These types of shapes may come in all shapes and sizes, with who even knows what kind of abilities? They tend to be very varied in characteristics overall.
Most plants(particularly cacti) are seen in “The Flora Paradise”, or simply “Paradise”, but they can frequently be found anywhere on the map, generally speaking.
In the next lore post, I'll talk about Icon shapes, and their few subdivisions! That'll be quite an interesting one :D

Sooooooooo I was going to yap about History next, since I literally finished explaining Geo geography, but I figured talking about the types of shapes would be more convenient firsthand for a good bunch of reasons. So here goes a starter summary before I focus on each one more in-depth! :D
So generally, we have some base subdivisions of shapes: Convex shapes and Concave shapes. These two groups were originally known as "Regular shapes", but due to historical conflicts and issues regarding stigma, the divide between both shapes has increased considerably, being nowadays reflected in this terminology change in social contexts.
As inspo from the main JSAB game, as well as other AUs like TPC(The Pink Corruption) and my friend's @/shij-ko0 AU(I'm not gonna ping them I don't wanna disturb them TwT), there are also shape types known as Plant shapes, Icon shapes and Beast shapes, more prominent in specific regions of Geometrika, but still easily findable all over, really.
With inspo from other games, and even other friends' OCs, I also included some rather...interesting kind of shapes...
The known Chemo shapes, and Special-bornes...
In summary, these are all the shape types:
- Convex;
- Concave;
- Plant;
- Icon;
- Beast;
- Chemo;
- Special-bornes(which includes other subtypes: Starbornes, Ashbornes, Cryobornes, Geobornes, Hyperbornes, Mechanobornes and Necrobornes).
