In 1959, Roger Dermée [1] returned to the control of a publishing house, with the S.E.P.F.E.( Société d’Editions et de Publications Françaises et Etrangères), to revive titles of the years 1949-54, in particular novels written by André Héléna. Under the logo "La Grenade", but apart from the eponymous collection, which is SEPFE's flagship collection, Georges Esposito will launch, and under differentiated signatures, the series "La Grenade Espionnage", a series which will feature only two numbers: "Ultra Secret" - signed James Mason on cover and George Mason on title page ... (note George without "s") - printed July 20, 1960, and "Avion Suspect" - signed Édouard Prin (from the maiden name of Esposito's mother!) on the cover and Georges Mason on the title page ... (note the Georges with an "s") - legal deposit 4th quarter 1960. Two works by Georges Esposito aka George Maxwell [2]

Although a third title was announced, once again the adventure stopped ... this time because of the departure of publisher Roger Dermée to Katanga as...mercenary !

Esposito finally lost his fetish editor. So he turns to his manager François Richard, who is then literary director at Editions Fleuve Noir, and asks him to be hired as author, .... It will be a refusal.

Collection Noire Franco-Americaine

23 titles between 1951 & 1953. This was the second collection called “Collection Noire Franco-Américaine”. The first serie was published at Editions du Globe and had 15 issues - non illustrated black and yellow covers - when Roger Dermée bought it and relaunched it from # 1 on with illustrated overlays. The 3 first issues of this second serie were still labeled Editions du Globe, the rest Editions Le Trotteur.

Dermée’s main authors were all in the collection: Robert Tachet (collective house name), André Hélèna, George Maxwell, Terry Stewart, Claude Ferny, Jacques Auburtin,Oscar Montgomery, Paul Daunay...

Seven of the twenty-three titles will be "banned", following a request by the Commission for the Supervision and Control of Publications for Children and Adolescents.
