listen you know i love a stray cat situation so oscar just sort of being coaxed into galex's relationship is always fun to me BUT here me out here.

george and alex have been friends FOREVER but not dating. they want to though they want to SO BAD. but then oscar comes along and oscar really gets along with alex (partially because alex seems to get along with everyone partially because both alex and oscar are canonical Yappers) and george is like. oh.

meanwhile oscar also really gets along with george because there's a quiet understanding there. george doesn't have to pretend to be anyone he isn't around oscar because oscar just meets him where he's at. they just click in a way that makes sense because they're kind of similar. and alex sees that and thinks. oh.

but simultaneously george and alex are still, well. george and alex. there's a deep bond there that goes back years. they understand each other in ways that no one else can. they are two completely different people but together they become something whole. and oscar watches that happen and thinks. oh.
