Reminder that Freyr's reaction to seeing a giant woman with beautiful arms was to become so deeply consumed by his feelings of longing that he refused to leave his room, and both his dad and his servant/childhood buddy had to confront him about it.
In doing this, great Freyr gave us one of the Biggest Moods in all of Norse myth.
It is spring! The growing season, the time of buying potted plants, or if you're lucky enough to have land, prepping and tending your garden
I would like to remind my fellow heathens that while you're honoring Freyr at this time, also remember his wide Gerð, especially if your garden is fenced in or you have a greenhouse since she's associated with enclosures
UPG but she seems so very nice
For any Norse pagans with gardens, greenhouses, fences, or other protective enclosures
Don't forget Gerð
