I think Gerry dying of cancer is kinda the funniest thing to happen. Y'all little Marty Stu dies like a fucking nerd. He lives a 'horrible and traumatizing' life (boo hoo your mommy skinned herself in front of you, get over it.) and like dies a like a fucking square. Probably alone. And Gertude knew about the tumor and didn't say anything about it. And then trapped him in a book. All y'all people who thought they were homies were wrong af, gerty hated his guts.

Jurgen on the other hand died a cool death. Brutal pipe murder? John getting blamed for it? Beautiful, magnificent, did much more for the plot. All Gerry did to expand the plot was explain things to us like we were children. It was boring and bland and stupid and removed all the mystery from the podcast. Jurgen's death showed us that Elias is a fucking ass. Also, the way Jurgen explained the Fears was much better. They are all different parts of the same thing.
