How to make a Double Angus Bacon burger wrap with cooked spinach, onions feta and mozzarella cheese.
Its extremely tasty. Trust me we ate it.
- Create four burger patties out of angus beef. (You may add whatever you like to the meat, but it tastes fine without anything. We added some jalapeño pieces to the burger meat.)
- Add some Worcestershire sauce and some seasoning to seal in the flavor. (we used applewood maple seasoning in the video, but BBQ or steak seasoning will taste good as well)
- While the burgers are cooking, take 6 ounces of fresh spinach leaves and 1/4 cup of raw chopped onions and throw them in a pan with 3 tablespoons of olive oil.
- Cook Burgers for approximately 6 minutes. If the patties are thinner they will cook faster.
- The onions and spinach should only take 2-3 minutes to cook.
- Before (or after) the spinach, onions and burger patties are done, cook 6 strips of bacon. and set them aside for the burgers.
- When everything is ready, place the burger patty down on a wheat wrap on the side, add 1/8 of a cup of mozzarella and 1/8 a cup of feta cheese to each patty, put the second patty on top to melt the cheese.
- Add the spinach/onions on top, then the 3 bacon strips for each of the double burgers.
When you are done add ketchup, hot sauce, bbq sauce, etc to the burger and close the wrap. Eat it similar to the way you would eat a taco and enjoy!
