ENTREPRENEURSHIP. “If you could get all the people in the organisation rowing in the same direction, you could dominate any industry, in any market, against any competition, at any time.” - Patrick Lencioni We were given a mission by the World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF) to curate a unique once-in-a-lifetime learning experience for global youth entrepreneurs and changemakers from Canada, United States, United Kingdom, Germany, The Gambia, Sudan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, China, Sri Lanka and more. And in good spirit, we accepted it 👍🏼 Little did the Young Fellows know that they would be doing Dragon Boat with our partner, Society Staples, after learning sign language. Well, entrepreneurship is about responding to surprises and taking risks as a team. What better than getting wet together and being on the same boat with other entrepreneurs 💪🏼 Looking back upon reflection, several shared that they initially had apprehension and felt anxious but later on discovered that a physical activity like dragonboating has much life lessons that they brought back to their home countries. Everyone enjoyed it 🤗 A highlight for many, we hope they treasure these precious memories we shared at the Kallang River <3 Happy Dragon Boat Festival 🐲 #WIEFYoungFellows #GetOutOfComfortZone (at Kallang Water Sports Centre)
