I am not actually all that much of a robotfucker (shocking, I know)
BUT
I don't have any way to describe Devolution Getter 1 that isn't either deeply sexual or a string of noises thoroughly divorced from speech
Like, look at this beast

LOOK AT THEM.
These mechs are all designed by the same duo of Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi, and as far as I'm concerned, *they all slap.* Devolution's Getter, the Vangray (and it's upgraded forms) from Super Robot Wars V, and an ENTIRE SERIES that I just learned about called Linebarrels of Iron, which I *will* be finding a way to watch. I don't care if the series itself turns out bad! *Every! Single! Design! SLAPS!* And I *WILL* be finding a way to get as many of these designs on my gunpla shelves as possible!
My wife jokes that I like thicc mechs and I cannot lie.
I just love me some BIG GEOMETRICAL STOMPERS.
Art Stream Drawings!
Ryoma, Hayato and Benkei from Getter Robo Devolution Maria from Symphogear And Scathach from FGO Not fully rendered but I'm happy with them :D
i still wish we were getting getter arc+devo in SRWY
the interactions between devo ryoma and takuma would be incredible
well, maybe in the next game

side mission shenanigans
I'm told IBO is a good Gundam but the fact that this is a CHILD makes me too physically uncomfortable to actually watch it
I've only had Hayato for three minutes (and I have to buy a DLC to actually use him) but if anything happened to him--
I know very little of Getter but the vibecheck on this dude is terrifying actually
what the HELL style does this remind me of, I---hm.
hehe
the 30 year anniv mission is cute actually
GET GAO'D NERD
dork.
sorry Edge I'm turning this game into All Brave Police, All the Time and you can't stop me
I won't be using these three because I don't like their bug eyes, they look like fae mimics and that I should be checking for shadows. :c
so I learned this dude was isekai'd or something and made magic robots just because he could
Yeah. yeah.
oh god one of the fae mimic chicks got to Mitsuba
...Albert Wesker? Is that you?
bro. bro are you stealing money from the government (based if true actually)
I already had kind of a headcanon going that the Huckleberry is cantankerous to pilot so I love that it was validated
YEAAHHH BIG FUCK YOU CANNON GOO
when the intrusive thoughts are making you want to trust a fart after a Taco Bell binge
"lol butthurt"
I should probably actually work on my art but I'm tired and also I REALLY wanted to speedrun to get my main man Gunmax on the squad asap <3
MJH Getter 1 (Getter Robo Devolution Ver.)
Getter 1 as it appeared in the manga, Getter Robo Devolution: The Last 3 Minites of the Universe.
This kit is actually a bootleg version of the Sentinel Riobot Getter 1 action figure! The build was definitely interesting, and it did frustrate me at points. I even ended up breaking one of the wings during construction!
I fixed it though (obviously)!
The kit has a full internal frame for everything but the head, so it's similar to a MG gunpla.
The clear green parts that came with the kit were super dull, to the point of looking black in some places, so I opted instead to paint them in a super visible metallic green.
I really love the look of this model. Now that it's done, it certainly has a presence like nothing else in my collection. Definitely glad I picked it up. I'd recommend it if you like the look of it, and if you can track it down, especially if you don't feel like paying $500+ for a second-hand version of the official figure.
