I may have my criticisms of SRW30, but I will say this: once you do get Caruleum to open up, he's a delightful little weirdo character.

I do wish we got to spend more time with that weirdo tho...

I think 30 probably has the most positive spin on the “Post CCA Char becomes a good guy again” plot thread, ironically enough because they’re taking a page from Zechs in that game. He’s back to being Quattro and is on his apology tour.

In V he’s dead.

In X, any kind of Counterattacking to be done is on hold due to everyone being stuck in Al-Warth. His joining the team was mostly due to Amuro’s prodding, and even then it’s only because they both agree killing each other in Al-Warth would be an unsatisfying conclusion to their rivalry.

T is TBD. The route I took was definitely…something (“It was a prank guys, I was never counterattacking! Have you seen Code Geass? Check out my Nightingale that the aliens gave me!”). I have to wonder if the other route splits shakes things up or if it’s consistent no matter what. I know both he and Haman are secret units that need to be unlocked.

you know as someone fairly new to Super Robot Wars (30 specifically) i'm just curious

did anyone else ever think like. the presence was gonna be "oh so for whatever reasons, maybe portals in time and space which lets them all interact!" and in turn get completely caught off guard when the opening prologue talks about the One Year War and then kaijus and then fucking Emperor Lelouch was here too and then Mazinger Z is also canon
