i've seen this shit all over tiktok, and i'm over it.

a lot of masc lesbians are going off about how "they'll never date a bi woman and it's just a preference because of *insert shitty experience here"- let me just...let's talk about this, friends.

as a masc lesbian, i quite literally know exactly what you're referring to. when i came out, i was one of 4 queer women in a school of 1800. there were quite a few girls who wanted to explore their sexuality once we came out, and honestly..? there's nothing wrong with that. the issue isn't the exploration or attempt to discover deeper parts of yourself at all- exploring your sexuality is very normal!!! the couple of times i had an issue, it wasn't because they were curious, or because they wanted to explore their sexuality. it was because they *did not communicate that their intention was to explore*. so the issue actually had nothing to do with their sexuality or their desire to explore, it was about their shitty communication skills and lack of honesty.

also, a bisexual woman has every right to "leave you for a man". it shouldn't hurt you more for a bisexual woman to leave you for a man rather than another woman. it sucks, period, losing somebody that you're into and have feelings for. i don't give a fuck what your gender or sexuality is, if i was feeling good with you and then you dip, i am simply going to be sad. idgaf who is on the other end, and neither should you. if a bisexual woman leaving you for a man bothers you more than a lesbian leaving you for another woman, you're fucking weird. idk what else to say.

the only thing i can see here is that these masc lesbians (including myself) had shitty experiences with women who didn't fucking communicate what their intentions were when going into situationships. which is an issue regardless of gender or sexuality.

stop demonizing bisexual women. please.

be honest. communicate. love women. simple simple simple.
