I just answered for Ultimis Richtofen over on my main blog, and now I’ll do primis richtofen!!

-What made me like them

So when I came into the zombies fandom, it was well into the primis storyline. I think it was... right before Gorod Krovi? Anyway, I was much more invested in the journey of the primis crew than the ultimis crew, and Edward (of course) captured me right away. The stark differences between him and his ultimis counterpart made me intrigued, and seeing him struggle so hard to save his companions instantly endeared him to me.

-My favorite thing about them

HES TRYING SO HARD TO SAVE EVERYONE HE JUST WANTS THINGS TO GET BETTER.

He tries SO hard to right the wrongs of his Ultimis counterpart. He struggles through the loss of his family, the loss of his mentor and father figure, the beginnings of his own sanity breaking, seeing his companions close to breaking themselves, AND HE STILL KEEPS GOING TO TRY AND SAVE EVERYONE. His strength is fucking awe inspiring and is something that I’ve drawn from in my own life to keep me going.

-Nicknames we have for each other

This is the same for both Richtofens- I call him Bunny, and he calls me Foxy uwu

-A headcanon of our relationship/friendship

Primis Edward is, understandably, very distrusting of new people entering his life. He protects himself almost to a fault, because he knows that one wrong move- one misplaced trust- could lead to everything he’s worked for dissolving. It was only when he was in the middle of a breakdown- when his sanity started to slip- and I stayed by his side, grounding him the best I could and ensuring that I wouldn’t leave him, that he knew he could trust me.

As I said for ultimis- the level of happiness that I’ve found in Edward has helped me through some of the darkest moments I’ve had over the past couple years. Nothing can ever take that away from me, nor will anything ever take away my love for him.

Mocha: what is your favorite kind of date with your f/o(s)?

Honestly, I love whenever I get to just spend time alone with Edward. Living with him and the rest of the crew, it can be a little difficult to find that alone time, though they do respect our privacy. It’s when Edward and I get to truly be alone, either when the rest of the house is empty or we sneak off by ourselves. If we are out by ourselves, I love to just go to little coffee shops with him, getting him to try all my ridiculous sugary coffee drinks, lol.

Chocolate chip frappe: what is the sweetest thing your f/o(s) has ever done for you? What is the sweetest thing you’ve ever done for them?

Oh, this is actually tough... there are so many little gestures he does that are just so sweet, because I know how hard he’s fought to be able to express himself that way. One that comes to mind right away is on one of the first colder nights we had, he made sure to keep me warm while I was outside, wrapping his jacket around me when he saw me shiver. And me for him... he had shown his favorite childhood toy to me, his beloved stuffed bunny, and I did my best to find as close of a replica as I could. He still has his old one, but now that one has a new friend as well.

Who’s usually the first to fall asleep: you or your F/O?

Definitely Eddie, especially at the start. We both have a tendency to stay up far later than we should, and we both know how to run on next to no sleep, but Eddie nods off before I do. At the beginning, before the relationship even officially started, we would still share each other’s beds, and I would stay up the night making sure he slept. I got a teensy bit of a scolding when he found out that I was sacrificing my sleep to watch over him lol.

What are some of your F/O’s sleeping habits?

Eddie tends to be fitful in his sleep, mostly because he’s not used to actually getting any decent amount of sleep at all. Once he was used to being in an actual bed and actually being safe, the fitfullness stopped for the most part, only returning when he has nightmares. The nightmares are something that happened frequently as well, but again, once he finally got used to being in a safe environment and started to work through some of the things he had been through, the nightmares started to happen less. Aside from all that- Eddie mumbles in his sleep, from science facts to German gibberish. He also gets extremely clingy, which I don’t mind at all lol. OH and he snores, but it’s a soft and quiet snore. He’ll deny it if you tell him he does it though.

Are you and your F/O light sleepers or heavy sleepers?

Eddie started out as an extremely light sleeper. He’s so used to having to bolt up at a moment’s notice that for a while he would wake at the slightest noise outside his door. This and the nightmares are part of the reason we ended up sharing each other’s beds in the first place- I refused to leave his side when I found out he was dealing with all that. Again, when he finally got used to being safe he started sleeping a bit more heavily. I’m the heavier sleeper by far though. He’ll hear something and wake up, and when he goes to ask me if I heard the same thing I’m just passed out lmao.
