Ghara tidbit: their word aišoko means “in a world of one’s own” and is used to describe neurodivergence like autism and psychosis. It’s a neutral, non-clinical term, which reflects their general view of difference as good/neutral. Zhe’ārani is aišoko.
Fun little thing I just stumbled across. Apparently a male gharial is also known as a ghadiala, a term derived from the protuberance on their snout (known as a ghara after a type of earthen pot)
