Gabriel gets a lot of shit from his siblings for this one. Even going into it, he knew it could only end badly. He and Celeste played a weird sort of cat and mouse for a long time after first meeting. For an angel, Gabriel’s relatively neutral towards demons-- they are sort of agents of chaos, after all-- and Celeste thought it would be fun to take advantage of that. Eventually they started hooking up for the hell of it. Both of them knew it wasn’t a wise choice, but the sex was great and they were having fun. Neither trusted the other and it was inevitable that it would fall to shit. Celeste was the one who broke first, stabbing Gabriel after their last hookup. He definitely hadn’t seen it coming and the scar is still fading. (It’s just below his ribs on the right side.) The two haven’t seen each other since.

I know that it’s somewhere on this blog, but Gabriel is left-handed, which has actually worked out in his favor over the years, because it makes him a better sword-fighter?? If he were right-handed, he’d be pretty average with his weapon, but because everyone is used to fighting against a right-handed opponent, he has the advantage of throwing someone off while fighting them and it’s enough of an advantage to make him better than average.

Of course, he hasn’t picked up a sword in a few thousand years and would really rather not change that, but it’s still a fun fact about him.

Gabriel absolutely can’t fix things and he really struggles to create anything? It goes against his entire nature which is chaos and destruction. This is why it’s so hard for him to successfully cook something. He can do it, but it’s rarely worth the effort.

the short answer is basically everyone to gabriel. but imma break this down. okay so morgan is definitely closest to grabriel bc he’s her best friend and basically the only constant in her life since things ended with raphael. daniel is closest to gabriel bc they were besties before daniel died and gabriel brought him back from the dead like hell yeah they’re close. raphael is closest to gabriel bc gabriel is loyal af and stuck by him even after he fucked up super bad with morgan. zach is closest to gabriel bc they’re twins and zach isn’t close with any of his other siblings. leo’s the only one who’s not close to gabriel. he hates gabriel and is closest to raphael, but they’re not that close anymore. now on the other hand gabriel is probably closest to morgan or raphael. daniel was his bestie but things are still weird between them bc gabriel did kinda sorta kill him even if he brought him back. and zach pushes everyone away including gabriel so they don’t see each other super often. but morgan is his bestie and raphael is his little bro and they’re v v v v close.

raphael is probably the bravest bc he’s dumb dumb dumb. i wouldn’t say any of them are scaredycats but they’ve all got fears and reasons for them. i think daniel is the most cautious tho and i mean, dude was dead for 2,000ish years so i don’t blame him for that. leo actually might be the second most afraid of things largely bc he went from being a nearly indestructible angel to a much more fragile demon and he. is v bitter about it.

Oh this one is easily Gabriel, but Leo is a close second. Morgan is also pretty ticklish but I have no doubt that Gabriel is the most.

Altho if I’m considering all the angels and not just the ones on this blog, I think Michael on @michaelandlucinda might be more ticklish than Gabriel tbh.

♥ - What does ‘love’ mean to them? 

To Gabriel, love is a lot of things and he has a lot of love to give. He loves all his friends and family, but he doesn’t really do romantic love. But love is shown in little gestures and in things he can remember. He remembers Morgan’s birthday and where to get her favorite cupcakes. In eternal bonds verse, he remembers the little things Ro mentions like wanting to see the Northern Lights. Gabriel is more of a show-don’t-tell kind of love.For Raphael, love is loyalty. When he loves, he loves deeply. But he feels betrayal stronger than most so when loyalty is broken, it cuts him hard. It’s why he and Morgan didn’t work out.For Morgan, love is stability. Love is knowing that someone will always be there for her. She doesn’t plan to need them all the time, but just knowing that they’re around is nice for her. Gabriel may not stop by often, but she knows if she ever needs him, he’ll be there in a heart-beat, literally. It’s why she stopped dating and befriending mortals. It’s too hard for her to be around people who won’t be around, well, forever.Danny doesn’t get love. He’s a logical thinker and emotions have never been his expertise. He loves his siblings, but he doesn’t really understand that love. He also loves Sawyer and he doesn’t know how she could ever love him back but she does. This love makes more sense to him at least because how could anyone not fall in love with Sawyer the minute they meet her?Max doesn’t believe in romantic love. She believes in familial love, because her mother was amazing and they were close. But her parents didn’t really get along and she’s been around long enough that she just doesn’t get monogamy or relationships or love.Nicky is nervous around people and so love isn’t something he’s thought much about outside of family. For him, like Gabriel, love is shown in small things, like making sure you’ve eaten enough or gotten enough sleep or taking care of you when you’re sick or you taking care of someone else when they’re sick. Things like that.Pete is a slutty cynic, but he believes in love (just don’t tell his sisters). His parents have gotten together in every life, despite all the problems. How can he not believe in it? Love for him is overcoming all the problems in order to be together.

☼ - Something that/Someone who makes them happy.

(For funsies/a challenge, I’m gonna do non-shippy, less obvious ones.)Gabriel loves everyone, so it’s kinda hard to pick just one person who makes him happy, but having Danny back in his life is amazing. Also Sawyer makes him happy because she’s friendly and she makes Danny happy and they can be children together.Danny is actually really happy to have Eli in his life. The grumpy werewolf was pretty much the first friend he made after coming back, and he never would’ve met Sawyer without him.Morgan obviously loves Gabriel, but before breaking up with her brother, Morgan really liked spending time with Ro, even though Ro shares way too much sometimes.Gabriel makes Raphael happy. They’ve both been through some dark times but they’ve always been there for each other and it was nice.In Purgatory, Max had Danny and it was nice to have such “damn good” company.Jessie’s not a person, but she’s Nicky’s entire world at this point. He would’ve survive without the furball.Pete is closest to Liv, though he’ll never ever admit it because he knows she’d never let it go.
