This is my red themed artwork for Ghibli November! I immediately wanted to do a picture of the sea plane from Porco Rosso, it's one of my favourite films, and that little red plane holds a very special place in my heart.

Despite my enthusiasm, planes are really really hard to paint, at least for me. I had lots of fun with the lighting, and a lot of struggles with the plane. I think I need to get a model of it - because it's not only beautiful but would also make it easier to draw again. It's good enough for now, but I'd love to revisit it in the future with some improvements to show.

My final Ghibli November artwork! The theme for this one is pink, and how could I resist picking princess Kaguya? My favourite parts of the movie are when she’s truly happy, and I hope I managed to capture her motion and joy here.

So I saw about Ghibli November earlier this week, which I'd forgotten about. It's a bit late into it, but I figured I'd join in! This is my white entry, Haku and the paper cut outs. This is quite a quick one, playing around with the oil paints Max pack, nothing fancy, but it was fun playing around with digital painting again.
