Cass was passing around the cave ignoring the others muttering about.
Three days
They only have three days to find a cure to the curse a dark witch placed on the family ancestor home. The place everyone in the family was anchored to. Steph and Bruce has their dens here. Jason's grave that anchors him to the mortal world resides on this land. The tree that house's Damian's spirit was planted in the woods on the manor grounds. Dick has his nest... some where in the manor. The cuddle bug is much more likely to be found in the werbat's den or somebody's room than in his nest. Cass herself has set her altar here anchoring herself to this land. The only one who isn't tethered to the ancestor land Would be Tim, the only full human in their little pack of misfits, and Duke. Duke being a Will of the Wisp is a free spirit who needs no anchor. Though it would be easier to see him often if they leave offerings in a fireplace for him to rest in.
So Cass has to find a way to stop the curse from poisoning the land.
The problem: the only spell, potion, antidote cas could find in all her grimmars has one ingredient she can't get. 'The bone of an unburied one freely given'
blood of the living dead? fine she can get that.
Fur of best friend shed in form yet found. A tricky riddle but she has that.
Nectar gifted from the one who whispers to animals. Yep, got that.
Not to mention all the stuff she had stalked in her shelfs for spells and potions.
Bone of an unburied one freely given. She can't just go out in the woods and hope to find an unfortunate soul. Then the bones wouldn't have been freely given. She can't grab a donated bone because the person who donated it would have still have had some form a ceremony to pass the soul off to the next life and giving those left in the living a final good bye. That, because of old criptic unspoken rules, counts as being buried.
Cass chews on her nail while she thinks. A ringing phone jolts her out of her thoughts.
"Daaad" Cass hears her younger brother whine through the phone "I need held. Tim and I are at the drake manor and... and... just get over here" he sound distressed.
"We have a solution for bones freely given!" Tim sounds so cheerful as he called out from further away from where Jason was. Jason made a sound like a wounded animal.
It took ten minuets to get to the Drake manor. Jason was waiting for them when they got there. He was shifting from foot to foot avoiding eye contact. He was tapping his fingers rhythmically at his side. Tim was a few passes behind him bitting the inside of his cheek pouting. Tim's shoulder's where lax. Okay so Jason was stressed out, probably tried to tell Tim why who didn't understand why which makes Tim sad and confused. Something happed, what?
Jason grabbed Bruce's hand and starts dragging him. Up the stair to Tim's room, towards the closet and... That's a corps. There is a pile of bones in Tim's closet. The bones are the same size as Tim...no

Cass turns and runs back out of the room
