Dean walked in ahead in front of you, Sam following close behind.
Your gun was cocked and poised in front of you, taking in the surroundings of the creaky old house that definitely looked like somewhere a ghost would haunt, and unfortunately for you guys, that’s exactly why you were there.
“Is this place even gonna hold up with us in it? It was built like a million years ago.” Dean scoffed in amusement, glancing back to see if either you or Sam laughed, which neither of you did.
It took only a minute or two of scouting the place out to realise that you weren’t the only living humans in the building.
After identifying where the footsteps and hushed whispers were coming from, the three of you hiding outside the door with guns and blades in hand.
You jumped in first, quickly searching the room but eventually sighing and lowering your blade when you spotted the camera that was pointed in your face. “Guys. It’s the-“
“Ghostfacers.” Dean finished the sentence for you, frustration overcoming his expression.
You ran a hand over your face and paced around the room as the sound of Sam and Dean asking why they were there blurred into background noise.
Ed appeared at your side, basically shoving his camera into your face.
“Do you mind?” You scoffed, shoving his camera away from you harshly. Ed frowned, a hint of disappointment in his downturned lips. “Sorry.” He murmured under his breath.
You, Sam, and Dean had come to realise Ed and Harry were firm on their decision to stay and hunt the ghost with them, so the three of you decided to just accept it and try ignore them the best to your abilities.
You and Sam had tried, anyways.
Dean had been lingering around you more than usual, his hands grazing against yours and your waist so often that you grew suspicious.
Pulling him aside with a tug of his jacket sleeve, you urged him to speak. “Dean, what the hell is going on? Why’re you being all clingy?”
His expression hardened and his shoulders tensed up, meeting your gaze with a hint of jealousy. “Look..” He began.
“You haven’t noticed how Ed and Harry have been eyeing you up all night? Using every excuse to be beside you?”
Your eyebrows shot up in surprise at the reason he had been acting like a toddler who didn’t want his mom to leave.
“You’re jealous over the ghostfacers? Seriously?” You tried to hold in your giggle, but failing miserably at his pouty lips.
You leaned up to whisper in his ear. “You’re ridiculous and that’s why I love you.” Dean couldn’t help the flush that came upon his cheeks when you whispered to him and then pressed a gentle kiss to his lips, a teasing smile on your own.
When you were halfway out the door to go rejoin the others, you turned back to look at your boyfriend who was standing in the same place he was when you kissed him.
“You better go kill the ghost before Ed or Harry do and I inevitably fall in love with them.” You called out, putting on a serious expression and an innocent look.
“Shut up.” Dean rolled his eyes and followed you to the others, reaching to lace his fingers with yours.

Do you think there was ever a documentary about the Winchester’s being satanic worshipping, grave desecrating, bank robbing, jail escaping, serial killing nut jobs and Ed and Harry are like “oh shit it’s Sam and Dean”?
Anyway as long as I’m being all nostalgic about Supernatural allow me to ask you all to watch one of the best things that came out of SPN - a shitty made for YouTube video where one of the main character (and angel names Castiel) meets a bunch of wannabe really bad ghostbusters. It remains one of my favorite things
I'm kind of shocked that (as far as I know), no one has gifed Xander in season four of Buffy saying to her: "I've gone through some fairly dark times in my life. When it was dark, and I'm all alone, and I'm scared or freaked out, whatever. I always think: 'What would Buffy do?'" with that episode of Supernatural and the Ghost Facers: "WWBD: What Would Buffy do?"
Claire Novak would 100% have fucked with the GhostFacers and it’s a sin we did not get an episode of that.
Like, they would have shown up at a hunt and Dean would have yelled at them as per usual and Claire would be like “wait you know these nerfherders?”
And then she realizes what they’re there for/who they are and gets an absolutely PREDATORY glint in her eye. Perhaps they make the mistake of telling her little girls don’t belong on hunts, or some other fedora tipping m’ladying bullshit.
And then it’s on.
She drags Jack with her insisting he needs to learn to live a little (plus the bonus of teleportation). It’s just the unwitting GhostFacers locked in a big ole haunted mansion with no idea what they’re in for - this girl has seen every horror movie ever made and is ready to go 500% FERAL. They never stood a chance.
Cas gets wind of their impending hijinks and is like “*sigh* kids, parenting is neverending, we should stop them”
But Dean says “no no, let them have their fun, it’ll keep them busy while we work the hunt. Besides they’ll be safer from the real ghosts with the kids around”
