soooo i totally went ahead and tried the flames myself :)) for a first try, i think i did pretty freaking well!! i cut the stencil myself, out of a plastic cookie container!

This is the tank after the clear coat, where the magic happens. First and foremost, excuse my disgusting voice. The clear coat contains metal flake, which is what provides the glittery look. There are parts which were additionally sprayed with a pearl clear coat, which changes the look of the color. This is what creates the "ghost flames" I mention. They don't show through very much, which is the point of a "ghost" flame. I did the body repair, the primer, base coat, design, and clear coats to create this work of art.
