Ghost Castle was released before PLA, so the lore revealed in that game doesn't factor into our writing, but we were chatting about what Ghost Castle might have been like if we'd written it later. I think the plot would be more or less the same except Tina would be even cagier about making friends, given his first ever friend was That Fuckin' Guy

anyway i doodled what tina might have looked like. small and resentful and throwing tantrums to make his mom pay attention to him 🙄

Dhelmise is one of my top faves from Alola. So creature.... I love it.

In ghost castle, i think Dhelmise would be an initially antagonistic character. He captains a ghost ship (ha) filled with Frillish and Skrelp types, and (perhaps not knowing that Giratina is back) tries to plunder the castle.

It doesn't last long, of course.
