How I feel about this character
Before I begin anything as a person? I have not felt so much rage towards a character (intentionally, that was due to good writing).... EVER, and I want to kick his ass to the sun.
As a character? I adore Jonah as a villain. He is the WORST. He is EXTRA. He has no redeeming qualities as a person and it’s GREAT.
I have a very specific villain trope that I adore, and it’s “Awful villainous character that emotionally manipulates and uses characters just for their own self-gain and their own satisfaction because they are selfish and awful, and in doing so they show the flaws of the system as a condemnation of said system and how the are inherently is inherently left flawed for people like these villains to get into power without showing any redeeming qualities in said villain”
Do I know it’s specific? Yes, yes I do. But Jonah hits every box.
Also...... I like writing Jonah in fics. It’s fun.
Still want to throttle him in canon though.

My unpopular opinion about this character
I said so above, but the fact that he in no way has any complex motivations is GREAT. He’s just a selfish prick and it’s perfect. (It in turn, highlights his actions as “some people are the worst and use others for their own selfish gains” and honestly? I appreciate it. The fact he doesn’t have a tragic backstory is refreshing tbh).
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon
I don’t know if I exactly wish it BUT.... I want the apocalypse on him to backfire on him in some element. Basically, have him just be a tool just as much as everyone in the grand scheme of the entities.
