Okay, like usual I have an idea stuck in my head while my brain is trying to escape my skull, and I need to make it everyone's problem. So a lot of times in the DP x DC fandom, the GIW has Amity Park in some sort of media black out. Then it accrued to me that wouldn't stop the Supers from hearing Danny's Wail. I mean sure, he could be off world the one time Danny's used it in canon, but if Danny kept wailing, he's bound to eventually be heard by at lease one of the Supers. Then I thought of Team Phantom just fed up with being ignored by the Justice League, that they start getting Danny to wail in the direction of Metropolis. One of the Supers are going to check out the horrifying screaming eventually and then get infuriated about the whole US government trying to exterminate an entire race of beings and a group of teenagers being the only ones that were handling all that.

Y’all know how Danny’s emotions affect ghost powers? What about the ghostly wail? What would happen if he was really happy and wasn’t keeping his mouth shut, like when you’re cheering on a roller coaster or singing at the top of your lungs during a karaoke session with your closest friends?

What if, instead of sending people flying and destroying walls, Danny’s voice travels far beyond what should be possible? It’s not painfully loud or scary, quite the opposite, because all who hear it feel as if their very soul is taking an astral journey.

We all have a song that makes us feel like that right? Like Harpy Hare or The Crane Wives. You know that feeling that makes you think your soul is ascending to heaven?

That’s what his voice does, and usually leaves his “victims” in stunned euphoria or perhaps a sense of accomplishment or determination if it’s one of those kick ass songs. Until it’s over, that otherworldly sound is all they can focus on.

Wait is this basically Siren Danny?

Anyways what do you guys think? Can the ghostly wail be 100% destructive and nothing else, or is it like Danny’s other powers and can be influenced by his emotions, thus turning it into something a little more harmless?
