Man I had to really think about this, but I don’t have any in depth head canons, just because I feel like it’s better to wait till like episode 6.

BUT!! Here’s what I got:

- said this before but I think Charles would’ve given Lily a Boozoo plush, maybe as like an early birthday present.

- He would be a really good cook, but weirdly would prefer to be lazy and make oven or microwaveable stuff.

- I know it’s canon that Charles does smoke on occasion, but I guess to elaborate to my thoughts. I’d say he give up when Lily was born only to go back to the habit maybe when Susan goes missing,

- If he *was* a Beatles fan (stream mentioned it briefly I don’t claim it’s canon tho), I think he would like Mean Mr Mustard from the Abbey Road album. (It’s been stuck in my head so shut up it fits here.)

- He would love getting Girl Scout Cookies

- I think Susan and him would cause a bit of mischief as ghosts but nothing that would harm people, but I feel they would hang out a lot in the afterlife.

- He’d get like the vampire effect and just cannot see his reflection in a mirror, or I guess instead of being invisible his face is just like. Gone. If that make sense…

Ok that’s all I can think of. Thank you so so much for the ask, and I’m sorry I took so long to answer but it was really fun to ramble. And I will always be willing to draw more Charles.

Oh, the episode where Hetty's trying to forgive Elias sure hits different now.

YES THAT EPISODE anon you are so so right!! Elias is the one that fucked around (on SO many levels, lol), but she is the one that had to find out, when all his legal trouble ended up entirely on her. In Weekend from Hell, she’s not just having to forgive him for all his direct actions while they were married, but also for the fact that he left her with this situation that made her feel even more alone and powerless and trapped than she had already felt throughout her entire life.

And she can’t share that particular pain she’s having to reckon with in order to forgive him with anyone else. Surrounded by the other ghosts as they try to encourage her to just move on, she’s so completely alone in that pain.

Her line of “releasing him from hell would make him happy, and I don’t want him to be happy. He doesn’t deserve to be happy” compared with her finally stating just how truly unhappy she was her whole life in this episode is getting me on a whole other level 😭

If one of the ghosts died with a watch on, would the watch still work after they died

Not a clue. I keep trying to think of an answer for this and I just can not. I think it's more likely that not though? Just because you stay how you die. If you stay how you die then realistically you're image would be the exact same as the second you're body stopped working so I think you'd get a pin pointed moment you died of the watch stopping perfectly in time with you. But then again there is nor reason why it doesn't keep that logic and say that the battery continuously works because you stay how you die so the watch runs forever. This is such a good question and I seriously wish I could offer a more concise answer but there is a compelling argument for both sides and I really don't know which I choose.

Hi Jin hi!!

Wonderful question! Hmm… I do love a lot of characters, comfort wise it has switched over the years. I’m gonna narrow it to two, I think that would be Jack and Susan. Reasons why is I guess I short of just bond with Jack, shrugs, I feel a lot of sympathy for him and Rose, and I dunno, I’m a huge history nerd way before I ever got into the Walten Files. So just him being old fashioned helps me express myself better, in a way if that makes sense. Also I have a soft spot for dad characters (shout out to Charles as well). My second runner up, I just find Susan incredible, and like a heavy role model. If during that time period, she was able to work into a mainly male legion job, and also be head engineer, while also being a lesbian, she just fucking rocks.

With that out of the way… YOUR SELF-INSERT IS SO COOL!!! My deep apologies to your husband, he had a good run I think… I hope I did ok, so sorry I took like forever to answer this. I had no idea where I was going with this

I think Charles, like any father, would do anything to keep his child happy and safe (it does imply that he’s a loving and overprotective father) maybe when the incidents started happening he got a little more overprotective of lily, unless maybe that’s just me

I personally see Lily as like Charles comfort source, he’d do anything to keep her happy, which I’m sure he was hyping her birthday party for. But yeah, when the disappearances start happening, I think he really juggles with concern over his friends and his daughter. Maybe bringing her less to the building, cause maybe Charles suspected something…I dunno…

And I’m in a good Charles mood, so have a doodle
