any thoughts on what Kelly's species is? my bf thought she was some kind of tree person

I thought she was “bushy” as well during her first appearance, but apparently her hair is meant to be more wool like than leaves like, at least looking at Lava Lake Beach. We don’t even know where she’s from, but I guess she’s native, or at least living on Mewni, since she knew about the Stump and was Pony and Star’s friend when they were younger and didn’t have access to dimensional scissors yet (nevermind that they still hang out at the Bounce Lounge, we can pretend they took dimensional taxis there...)

I think Lars def represents Steven bc he was sort of like an outsider who looked up to the trio and felt a bit insecure about fitting in, but now is becoming more comfortable and paralleling Stevens progress too
