Taylor threw her phone on the couch. She didn't need it where she was going now. She didn't want to be disturbed. By anybody. It was like when he left the party. She channeled all her energy into Louis, and just Louis. No distractions allowed. That was how it was when it was him and her. She owed it to him and more. It was still somewhat surreal to her that he loved her in the way that he did, but there was no turning away from it. She was to face it, and take the pain and the guilt as she deserved. She was almost sure that she would never truly stop blaming herself, and even years into the future, she would deep down believe it was her fault.

Lou messed with her head a lot. He was nothing like Luke, yet she seemed to be starting to realise what she actually could have with him. But the hard part was, she could have something beautiful with Luke, too. She would have to pick one soon, to avoid even more pain. Taylor shook her head to clear it, climbing into her car and starting the ignition.
The hospital smell hit her straight away and she avoided cringing, walking up to the front desk. Unexpected nerves washed over her as she put forward her name, and the nurse gave her a sympathetic look. Probably remembering her from last night. Her screaming and pleading, her tears, her helplessness. Taylor had to look down and avoid her eyes.
When granted entrance permission, she ran down the halls. Ran to find Louis. To see him in person. His room number was written down on the inside of her palm. Bursting open his door, she practically tripped into the room and dived to hug him, unable to stop herself. "Lou..."
