@randomnameless Yeah that 'are you really the legitimate heir' question is why I was assuming she was pissed at him for showing up in the 11th hour as she probably hoped for Gloucester to take over since he's an Empire sympathiser and would easily bend. It seems the Alliance has access to good farming land.
I mean, asking someone who was vouched for, by his country/state as the heir, if he is legitimate kinds of blows - I understand Lorenz being curious (and pissed) but Edel?
What if Dimitri started to ask her about her older siblings and “wow El, last time you told me you were 9th in the line of succession and now you’re 1st, what happened to your 8 older siblings??” or if Claude jested “wait you got them to sign a contract with their blood making them forfeit their claim or something?”
Tibarn at least tried to be friendly asking this from Naesala, given how bird tribes laguz used to be pals, before, well, everything - but Edel questioning Claude?
(seriously though, at least these would made Edel’s siblings kind of exist and not only a thrown line in her supports or gaslighted under a very vague “tragedy befell the Hresvelg line”...)
