“Darling?” She called, looking over her shoulder in the clawfoot mirror as she put the back on one of her pearl earrings. She sighed slightly at the lack of response, rolling her eyes as she reached for the other and delicately pushed it through her other ear. Shaking her bracelets back down her wrist, she surveyed herself once: perfect. Her black dress and pearls were a striking contrast to her blonde hair - currently folded into tight curls and pinned against her head. “Gilderoy?” She called again, slipping into her shoes and going to find him. Rita knew exactly where to look, and found him in a similar situation in front of the bathroom mirror, sans earrings. “Darling, come on, we’ll be late.” She gently turned his shoulders, a soft smile overtaking her features despite her annoyance. “You look perfectly handsome.” She assured him, reaching up to fix a single strand of his golden hair, although it was laying near flawlessly already.
