بالائی علاقوں میں بارش، دریائے گلگت بپھرگیا گلگت اور بالائی علاقوں میں بارشوں کا سلسلہ وقفے وقفے سے جاری ہے جس سے گرمی کا زور ٹوٹنے کے ساتھ موسم خوشگوار ہوگیا۔ شدید بارشوں کے بعد دریائے گلگت کی سطح میں بلند اضافہ ہونے سے پانی آبادی علاقوں میں داخل ہوگیا جس کے باعث کئی ایکڑ پر کھڑی فصلیں زیر آب آگئی جبکہ بارش کے باعث پہاڑی مقامات پر لینڈسلائیڈنگ سے مقامی لوگوں اور سیاحوں کو مشکلات کا سامنا کرنا پڑرہا ہے۔
