Fuck those glasses in particular, I guess. I made a perfect gin gimlet. 1 shot of gin (not dry). 1.5 shots of simple syrup. 1/4 of a lime, juiced. No kids. No Wolf. I might drink 4 more of them. Maybe I wasn't kidding.

Tonight’s libation is a Gin Gimlet
2 oz Balfour London Dry Gin
1 oz lime juice
1/2 oz simple syrup
1 bar spoon Wilkin & sons Ltd Tiptree lime marmalade
Shaken with ice and strained into coupe garnishing with a lime wheel
"sometimes you just need to make yourself a gin gimlet, yah know?"

2 oz Gin 1 oz Lime Juice 1/2 oz Simple Syrup
Shake, strain, garnish with lime.
