A warm comfort on a cold winter's night

I came up with this idea as a sort of "anti grumples." I was watching a "truegreen7 fakemon collab" when they brought up the point that a lot of media and mythology kinda demonizes older women. Even yokai watch is kinda guilty of this.

So, I wanted to make a yokai who has the warm energy of a grandmother, one who isn't resentful of how much she aged. And when I thought about that idea, baking came to mind! So, I ended up taking a lot of inspiration from the gingerbread witch of Hansel and Grettle, kinda reinterpreting her as a much more kind character.

Granny ginger lived a very full life, she loved much, and died with no regrets. In her afterlife, she's very much at peace, and shows the same kindness to any she encounters, long as they do the same.

When she encounters people on cold winter nights, she'll inspirit them, giving them a feeling of warm comfort akin to fresh baked cookies.

Granny Ginger is a D rank of the heartful tribe. She's a fire attribute with the soultimate, "Home-cooked meal" which inspirits her team with a passive heal.
