2/2 dream, and they see their trophy and or pet lovingly enjoying a romantic episode with their light sider counterpart. It’s obvious this is a dream world and the only way the trophy pet can keep on going in the real world. Next time the dark sider tries to get with the trophy pet they attempt to cajole them into reacting more / taking a more active role because they saw what’s in the dream and now they miss and crave that aspect of their partner and want the affection and banter back.

So either anakin or obi wan fell to the dark side, and conquered the universe. They kept their partner as a trophy and or pet, and typically make pretend their relationship is consensual and that their partner is doing well while it’s pretty clear the partner is pretty outwardly apathetic to the ongoings since they’re devastated that whomever fell to the dark side and they lost everyone / the Jedi / their freedom, ect. One day the sith sees them dreaming and uses the force to see into the 1/2
