These minerals sparkle and that phenomenon is called Aventurescence. It can come from a number of locations around the world, especially India. It forms in mass rough. Very easy to procure. Very affordable. - Genuine Ginger Quartz only comes from Kazakhstan and Russia. It has more of a ginger coloring caused by Hematite and micro-Pyrite inclusions. It comes in well formed crystal clusters and points. Very difficult to procure. Expensive! - Genuine (Real) Strawberry Quartz only comes from Chihuahua, Mexico. The color is due inclusions of Goethite, Rutile, Ferric Iron and it’s speculated to have Lepidachrosite as well. It forms in mass rough, but can also be crystalline. Almost impossible to get. We have not see it in 20 years. Expensive! - Currently the online world is being inundated with Red Adventuring that everyone is calling Strawberry Quartz as the trade name.
